Hi there! For anyone here who's been in/or is in therapy for their hoarding and/or squalor issues--how did you find a good therapist? Did/is your therapy helping? I'm trying to figure things out in my life and think therapy might help me gain perspective...and help. Any advice??? Thanks!

What kind of therapy are you looking for? I have had two courses of CBT, cognitative behavioural therapy over the last two years and found it very useful. The first was to find a way of dealing with a legal/business problem and the second with depression. Both of these were associated with my hoarding and messyness.
