I have been lurking here for months so I thought I would make it formal. I was at a level 2 or 3 for years and years. (I even had a housecleaner) I think the clutter in the house made it impossible to clean, and the clutter was just being re-arranged. I finally had enough of it and decided to look online for help. I found FLylady and SS..and now this site. I am proud to say my house is now a ZERO through-out, and I have kept it this way for 2 months now. The amount of junk that has left the house has been mind-boggling and now that it is de-cluttered I can see the dirt and clean. I can't believe I ever used to live the way I did, and I don't know why the actual de-cluttering never occurred to me. Cleaning is so easy now...almost enjoyable. Without the clutter there...I now freak out when something is out of place or dirty so I clean it up right then. I used to just leave it...thinking it didn't make a difference anyway. Now it's OBVIOUS if a piece of paper is sitting on the counter or if I need to vacuum. WHAT A RELIEF to walk in to a clean house that even smells good! I also enjoy cooking (I used to HATE it) and I even invite my friends over. The kids have routines they are finally habitually completing everyday without being told. It's amazing. Today we (As a family) did the "Weekly Home Blessing" as it's called in Flylady. Each of us had a job and it took 20 mins to get the whole house clean by dividing up tasks. (The house is divided up into zones and you deep clean 1 zone a week and spot clean the rest of the house.) My house looks like a magazine photo. I just want to say Thanks..even though none of the comments were directed towards me. They have kept me motivated. I am happy to be here. IT CAN BE DONE!!!!! Woo-Hoo!!
