SERIOUSLY!! I really can see the end of the task before me. DS's room - it is almost done! DONE! Am I allowed to say that here? It is almost completely to a level 0!!!!! Right now, as is - it is at a .75. that's it. I'm doing the happy dance - I would be screaming from the roof-tops, but those dern dust bunnies and my screeching back are prevening that. I developed a new mantra: Each single one, brings me closer to being done. I was chiding myself at picking up/putting away single items - like, Wahoo that is really going to make a difference. I stopped myself from the negativity and said, "Each single thing - brings me closer to the end." Then I changed it to rhyme. Each single one, brings me closer to being done! I'm so lucky to have found this place. You guys rock and have helped more than you will ever know! Thank you, each and every one. hee hee - I'm this excited about a single room - just think what I will be like if I were to ever get the entire house completed!

I'm finished! I did it! It was just yesterday I posted I didn't think I would see the end. I did it! I actually have one room in the entire house that is DONE! The living room is at a 1-1.5 and the bathroom is at that same level - so they aren't horrendous, but WOWZERS! I did it! I'm horrible - I'm just so excited - I shouldn't be bragging - but I did it. I haven't had this much energy in MONTHS/YEARS! I think I broke my brand-spankin' new vac, though. It started making some horrendous screeching sound like a wild banshee - so who knows. I don't often vac, most of our floors are hard wood - except in this room and the Master bedroom - they are at the far end of the house, so not a lot got tracked into them. But, aside from a small remaining area of vac in the room - it is done! DONE! DONE! Whew! that feels good. I need a nap now!

Of course you should brag and be happy and all of that. This is wonderful!
As to the vac it might just be something hung in the belt area or you may have broken the belt, usually costs around 5.00 to replace. Did you smell burning rubber at anytime while running it or is it hard to push? Those are both signs the belt has had it? Good Luck on fixing it and keep happy dancing, it good for ya!

Is it bad that I have gone in there twice now, just to stand in awe and amazement? THe vac - I had sucked up a dime, once it was removed, it is working just fine!

Hooray for the dime in the vac (it's a tip for you!) and TRIPLE hoorays for the room being DONE!!!! Oh, I hope you will brag, brag, brag ......... I certainly intend to when I complete my first room as you have!! Wow, I can imagine you get a real thrill every time you just peek in the doorway. DS will be so very pleased and surprised. You did an awesome job and showed all of us that it IS POSSIBLE, even when it seems like it's way too much. Thank-you so much for sharing and inspiring the rest of us to forge ahead to success!!!!! (Did I just type that? ) Tomorrow I have to go pick him up - Saturday we have plans, Sunday-church and resting. So, Monday it is - Phase 2 - Dust Bunnies - you're goin' DOWN!
