I have the hardest time weeknights. Once I get home, I am like, lights out! I can go to the gym after work and exercise, go do some freelance work, but come home and declutter -- Does anyone else have this issue? Hope it does not sound to silly!

Unless I've had a reeeeeaalllyyyy slow and easy work day, I generally don't get much done after work besides the bare minimum of essential errands, make dinner, clean up dinner, do some laundry. (And sometimes "make dinner" means call for pizza delivery ) Right now I could be cleaning the downstairs bathroom or going through a pile of catalogs from last week's mail and then recycling them, but I doubt either one of those things are going to get done. Even though one of them could mostly be done from a horizontal position on my loveseat.

During the workweek, I hang up my clothes, sort the mail and keep up with dishes & cat box. That's IT. And frankly, after 10-hour work days, I think it's more than enough.
Everything else has to wait till the weekend!

Hi Yamecita! Don't worry - even "normal" tidy people suffer from post weekday work tiredness. I don't really have a solution except that maybe you can make a deal with yourself that as soon as you walk in the door you will try to get as much done as you can in 15 minutes or do 10 things or whatever then the rest of the night is yours. Even if it is something small you will have some satisfaction in knowing that you at least did something! Good luck Catbiscuit
