Hi Messiesweetie! I have a thread in Listzilla called Sapphire's Big Zing. It is listing my progress. (And there's a photo thread, in the phtos forum, of the bedroom I cleared). But in brief, I cleared the bedroom that has the water heater in. I got a plumber in! He fixed the water heater, so we now have hot water! My fiance came back on Friday for the weekend, as originally planned. And he was sooooo happy and proud of what I'd achieved that he has stayed! However, his job contract ends on Friday. The only contracts he has on the table to start on Monday are too far away for him to stay here! So, ironically, he'll have to move out Monday - Friday, anyway!! He'll just be staying here at weekends for the next 5 months. But things between us are great!! So our weekends will be extra special! And him not being here during the week will give me time and space to get the house sorted! Thanks for checking in on me.

Hi Sapphire,
I read your other post about "If, Could, Might" first - I thought they were inspired words and said so, but I didn't realize the task you are in the middle of (well, except I assumed you were digging out of some kind of squalor like the rest of us or you wouldn't be here!) The work you have done and the progress you are making is as inspiring as your insights.
Terrific insight on possibilities for temporarily fixing problems so you can get on with making your house more liveable. Isn't it interesting how our brains seem to work better when we are in action?
I don't have any better advice than what's already been offered (although I do second the idea to take a walk in the fresh air everyday) but just wanted you to know I'm cheering for you too!

Neveropentheclosets: Thank you so much! Your kind words and support mean the world to me. You're right about our brains working better when we're in action. As though we're decluttering our heads at the same time! I think the positive feeling is self-perpetuating! As long as I'm feeling positive, I get things done and so become more positive! And feeling as though I might be an inspiration to others makes for a VERY positive feeling!!!
