Great job, MamaAngie !!! You did more loads than some people do in months!!! I hope you are feeling much better, today!!! Yesterday, I moved a load to the dryer, folded/hung that load & put it away. Also, I tossed a broken hanger. I need to find a place that will take old hangers. I don't want to go to the cleaners that I was taking them before. I'd prefer a non profit organization. I have a bunch to take. CD

GREAT JOB cando!! Oh the laundry it will never end, especially in my house of 5. My biggest backup is when I have extra bedding due to my special needs daughter who is incontinent. Could have days of dry bed and then wash sheets every day for 5 days in a row and comforter too. Yesterday I got some more laundry done. Funny how much I did the day before and then you know there was still that much more that "appeared." Folded & put away load of clean sheets Washed, dried, folded & put away load darks Folded, folded & put away load towels Wash & dried load of colors ---- need to take care of this morning after work If I am not too wiped after work, I want to strip all the beds and wash. I have 3 twins in my house now. The 8 yo has bunk beds and the 2 yo has his bed in our room. We're hoping he'll be ready to move into her room in a couple months (he's almost 3) but he's not doing great sleeping in his bed. So we'll see. Anyway I need to strip all 3 of those and wash. I only have one extra set of sheets right now so I need to be up for the challenge of making all those beds. (The top bunk is a chore!) I do have clean sheets that I can put on our bed right away at least. So think that will be the first one done so I can take a nap today on clean sheets. I also have that load of colors to put away.

Well, MamaAngie , you are kind of outnumbered, there. And, with one who is incontinent.... that does make a lot of laundry... folded/hung load of laundry, put that load away, put a load in washer & moved load of laundry to dryer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yesterday: Folded load of laundry, put that load away & put another load in the washer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Moved load of laundry to dryer CD

I washed three of my sons tshirts and a pair of shorts in my portable washer. I looked up laundromats and found a newly renovated one. I would like to come up with some kind of schedule like doing towels once a week and sheets every two weeks. I would also like to wash our cotton duvets and they have mega load washers and triple and quad. Done that way it wouldn't have to take a lot of time. And they have free wifi. They are also next to the medical clinic that I want to go to

Got back from a 4 night vacation with family late Friday night. Before we left, I had done lots and lots of laundry. Somehow though we still left the house with probably 2 or 3 loads sitting here waiting to be done. That combined with what we brought back from vacation, means I have several loads today. I did wash at least while we were gone (rental house) so I only have 2 loads worth. Funny how much laundry 5 people can create in a day. Yesterday I just washed bedding that my special needs daughter dirtied that night. So today is about clothes.
Got a load of darks washing now and need to go swap into dryer.

Mama Angie, I find we make more laundry on vacation than at home.

I have been keeping up with the laundry because the dryer is out and I have to keep the volume of wet hanging clothes down to a manageable level. Right now there is nothing hanging in the assorted door frames, but there is a load in the washer so we will soon have multicolored, wet items hanging everywhere. I will be so glad when we get the dryer fixed but the AC repair set the dryer repair back a few weeks.

boyswillbeboys - I am thankful we had the washer and dryer at the vacation house. So I did okay while we were there, just had some things I didn't wash the last full day and then the day we left. But yeah it seems to multiply quickly. I also washed towels while we were there. And their silly cleaning person decided to cram what looked like 3 loads worth of bedding and towels into their dryer because she was under pressure to get the house clean in the 4 hours between one family leaving and us arriving. So I spent time drying that stuff which I broke into 3 loads. This of course was the next day that I realized that stuff she had drying was still very damp. Well laundry is underway here. I need to go back and check the machines though. I had a load of darks in each machine. I have a big tub full of clean stuff that I brought home clean from vacation to put away. Di - I don't blame you for getting the a/c fixed first. I have been there with the dryer out and know your challenges. It is a real treat trying to hang dry stuff. Mine has always gone out in the bad weather ... winter or wet times so no drying outside either.

We live in a restricted neighborhood where no clothes lines are allowed... so stuff HAS to dry inside...
