It is not Monday but its laundry day anyway since I know the city has made it to our alley way with line repairs. We have been warned the water may go off at random times during the day next week starting Monday Bed stripped of sheets and blankets. Towels gathered up. First load made up of sheets and towels in washing. Shirts pretreated and in the laundry basket with the rest of the next load awaiting its turn in the washer. Debating washing blankets from bed or just putting them back on the bed with fresh sheets. How often do you guys wash blankets? Mine have been on the bed for 3 weeks so I am thinking it is time to wash them.

I just lost my post. It has been three weeks today since I did laundry. I was able to get everything washed and dried and folded two triple loads and back home in two hours. While I was waiting, I took the trash to the dumpster and scanned several genealogy files. I came home and folded all the underwear and put almost everything away.

Thursday I washed the mattress pad warmer and sheets in the spare bedroom. I then made the bed up so I now have a fresh clean guest bed. I gathered up a load of laundry from the spare bedroom yesterday and put it into wash this morning and it is now in the dryer drying.

While I was waiting, I took the trash to the dumpster and scanned several genealogy files. I came home and folded all the underwear and put almost everything away. Wow!! That's great you got everything done in a day imamess! Is it just you? I have 5 in my house, one child with special needs (think bedding 3-5 times a week for her.) Even if I skip all the clothes and only do that during the week, I can't get all the clothing and towels done in a day. I had a rough week last week and that's how it went. I really need to do a load or two a day to keep things running here and not feel overwhelmed. Friday I took care of 5 loads of laundry that had been washed and dried and sat in baskets all week. I had intentions of working on the 4 loads I gathered up on Saturday but that didn't happen. Now I feel behind again. I think I threw a load in the machine on SAturday and it's still sitting. Need to go check and rewash. *sigh*
