You're doing great Starflower. Sorry the dentist appointment got you so tired and sore. But you got up and did some work, you are inspiring me! Okay, yesterday I did some filing and mail opening. Also got my to-do pile in order. Today I will work on the things in the to-do pile. I also need to print out my bank statement and pay the mortgage.

I worked more than an hour on taxes (almost done) and reorganized and tossed some papers during that process.

Another 25 minutes on papers for my job; tossed only one paper. It's very slow going, but I want to go through it thoroughly (taking notes for a project). No mail today.

Yay me, I've finally caught up with reading my backlog of New Yorkers. Today I finished and donated the last one. I was reading it while sitting on one of my volunteer shifts last weekend, and people kept coming up and saying: "Oh wow, is that the issue with the Somali pirates article? So amazing!" It really was amazing, a page-turner, outstanding research and writing. And that's precisely why I love the New Yorker, and now I want to renew my subscription. I'll try to hold off for at least a week before I hit the Subscribe Now button.

Cleared out another half of a container and found a check for seven dollars. Haven't found spare key I started out looking for but there is hope. Another container cleared out. Found tax records from 2013 so I can refile them. Filed all birth certificates. Found a lot of kids passwords to different sites. Found labeler and tape recorder.Counter now has one container of paper left. Will soon have to invest in filing cabinet.
