I haven't been cooking much so there haven't been many dishes to deal with. The few glasses and coffee cups have been making their way to the DW and will run when full. Dinner is frozen pizza again and will eat that off the cutting board like last time Good job, ladies!!!

Yesterday was a huge unpacking day. I *think* I found all the boxes of dishes in the addition that came out of our cleared storage unit. And I repacked lots of MIL's dishes and things I no longer wanted or needed into the boxes to go to the thrift shop. Rain has stopped, so I guess I could go out and take all this stuff to the car. And see if trash guys came, and put out my trash if they didn't. I'm having a low-energy day after not enough sleep.
I do have *more* dishes now. This worries me a bit. But it won't be a problem if I keep up with the kitchen every day. My hard-to-reach cabinets now have stuff in them, and I will keep an eye on what I use and don't use.
I packed away MIL's *really* nice dishes in boxes that I put in the basement. If I ever have a garage sale, that would be good stuff for that. And I've been pulling things out to use every so often, too.
The kitchen is remarkably clean and tidy considering what I did yesterday!

caught up on dish washing. ::http://gi252.photobucket.com/groups/hh28/1IO3E0AI9A/together-we-can-1.png:: WTG wynken!!!!!! AWESOME, larataylor! Good job cleanbeeLast night I hand-washed dishes, loaded the dishwasher, ran dishwasher, put away all the clean dishes when it was finished running. It was nervous energy that was responsible. Still, it was nice to have an empty dishwasher to throw breakfast dishes into this morning. Nervous energy is also seeing me do a lot of laundry, especially folding and putting away!

[/img] cleanbee larataylor dayeanu[/img] lara - I had that unable to sleep thing with hangover next day a couple of days ago, that had me just give up and go to bed with dishes undone the next night. The good thing about not having eaten a cooked my meal that day - there wasn't as much washing up as if I'd been looking after myself. Which isn't really such a good thing. I'm starting to do up a check box list for next month again after a lapse of over a year. I know from experience - drawing it up when the new month starts is resentment material, Same as needing to wash up when I'm over tired. And out of sorts. I'm going to give myself double marks for doing things by certain times, until its more normal to do them beforehand. I am having 5 columns for a bed rest / sleep log. Bed rest counts even if I'd prefer to sleep longer.

My mother passed away this afternoon. I was very grateful for a clean kitchen at least, when all the official people started coming in. I credit this thread for that success. Thank You all for being the inspiration I needed.

((( dayeanu))) It was you who did the work. Well done getting things to the point where you could feel easier about folk needing to come in. gracious - You can have your own rules for washing up. See how it works for you. Ditch it if it is doesn't work for you. lostchild - well done keeping on the processes. I have drawn up my checklist book for October - and will start practicing now. Hopefully by end of October I'll have a better schedule in place. Its a work in progress.
