Hi y'all! PaperGrace -- Thank you for bringing us back to this thread. I don't know why I abandoned it. I have tossed tons since I last posted. I have kept track of everything so may come back and post some, but it will be long lists! You, my dear, have been doing amazing things!!!!! You've tossed so much. I will go back and read from where I left off and re-read some of your posts. Congrats to everyone who has tossed anything in the last year!!! I still am of the belief that something is better than nothing! Love to all and Happy New Year! CD

I have no memory of being in this thread, haha. I considered not including those who only posted once or twice, or referring to your 'cameo appearances' but I decided that was too much silliness. I assure you, you were here: hi! I don't like to read this thread because hearing about things being thrown out makes me want to find you and rescue them. BUT I'm sure its for the best if you are living in clutter or squalor or chaos or whatever. I chose 10 books to get rid of. I will take them out tomorrow. there is an old newspaper selling machine that has been converted into a "free library", which is really a "leave a penny take a penny" only with books.

Please remember for all those who want to save things that sometimes the best place for things is the garbage. Saving things we don't need inspires feelings of guilt and worry. Better to feel released than restrained by our possessions!

Glad you did PG. And lostchild, yes absolutely. We're all in different places in our journeys and at the moment I'm not in a position where I should just chuck stuff. Maybe a few things.
But I DEFINITELY used to be.

I think you should do it Papergrace, since you do it so well! And you also remember the thread at the end of the year, which I never seem to do. Diane

EEEEEEP. I totally spaced and forgot to update my counter as I tossed. Bad, Bad, SMF. I want to thank PaperGrace for setting up this challenge, because it helped give me the strength to toss out magazines I'd been saving for years, because they contained "something I'm going to make/cook/buy/do sometime in the future". Happy New Year everyone and congrats on all your hard work!
