Well done, lucie! The smiley I know coming nearest to chocolate is one from millan.net: Enjoy! OnTheMend, how many loads of laundry did you do? I lost count . I just put on the second coat of varnish on the door frames and patched some spots with grey. Now all my tools are wet, and I have to wait till tomorrow to patch some spots with white. Even though I tape off I still manage to spill paint on the wrong place . So tomorrow I'll put the furniture back, and most important: I'll finally get my main room back!

flotsam - it was "only" 6 loads I took few more steps on my area rug project, it's otherwise finished, I just have to decide a better place where to keep them stored from now on, the old place is out of the question. I also got all my laundry from laundry drying room, some of them were not dry yet so I spread them on doors and in the bathroom. I feel inspired, so I might do some vacuuming, I really should be reading some materials but ...

Took care of bringing in bags I washed but couldn't go in the dryer off patio.
Took broken screen door down and put on curb for trash pick up.
Made lunch for kids.
Perming my hair. Trust me big project...hasn't been done for a while.

lostchild yay for a perm! Today sort of slipped by including a nap. I woke up groggy but am straightening up right now. Lots of things "here and there" to pick up no big jobs. I finished a significant part of a craft project late last night. I then felt like I could put it away for a while.

Wow, 6 loads of laundry, OnTheMend Thank you so much for the smiley, flotsam, it is really cute. You have done a great job with your painting. I did just one load of laundry this morning - the clothes I used this weekend and a throw from the kitchen - I want everything clean. I put away all things into a toilet room and all things into kitchen - the new shelf looks great and the spice jars I put on it were not as dirty as I thought. I threw away some dated papers and wiped and scrubbed everything before putting it back and did everything else and was avoiding the microwave. But in the end I had to do it and scrubbed it too. And the kitchen looks absolutelly wonderfull, it is like a new home. Really an upgrade. Tomorrow I need to scrub the hallway and tidy and organise the big kitchen cupboard. Will have to buy some cleaning solutions first. Well done turkeyhill and lostchild It is so much better to work with someone

hollyhock, all the painted rooms are absolutelly wonderfull. I am more than half way done with scrubbing my hallway. More work there than I thought - I did not realised there 6 doorframes to scrub too. I cleaned it before breakfast, now I finished drinking my morning tea so I am off to finish it.

I hereby pronounce my hallway to be scrubbed clean. It needs moping yet, but I will do moping in all rooms after I sort out that kichen closet. Off to go.

The kitchen cupboard is organised and I threw away some old stationary. I put everything back into the hallway, which means The Evidence Is Erased now.
The only thing I need to do is mop the floors.
I may look into the other part of this cupboard - there are two shelves I haven't looked into in a long time. But that is optional and for later. I am taking a break now.

Great work lucie, you kept going even after the main project got finished and did what many of us has difficulties with: tied the loose ends (or are continuin to do that). You have moved mountains this extended weekend with your friends!

Hurraaaayy! My after-painting deep cleaning is done! I organised the last two shelves in the kitchen cupboard, cleaned the bathroom and moped all floors inside. Only the stairs in the house (between the flats) need moping too - I may or may not do it later today, but deffinitely will do it by the end of this week. I have coffee break now and hope that by the time I finish my coffee the rain will stop so I could take the recycling out. I have already packed it. Thank you all for the support
