bed time 11.30 read til 11.50. woke again at 2, and on and off all night. Maybe slept more later. woke about 6. rose 7.45

It is absolutely wonderful to sleep all nigh! I went to bed last night at 10:30 and woke up briefly at 2:30, but managed to turn over and go back to sleep. I got up this morning at 7:30. That is the longest I have slept in one stretch in I can't remember how long. Working on my volunteer work yesterday got my mind off my problems and it helped a lot.

set reminders on my phone to get off the computer and turn out the light. Ignored the lights out - I had only 20 pages left in my book and I wanted to finish it. Slept through the alarm this morning and didn't wake up until 11ish.

Ahhh, so glad for you imamess! It can be so restorative to sleep like that! Good job bobolink setting your alarms. It is a great first step. I got home later than I would have liked so my whole bedtime routine got pushed later. I think I got lights out at 11:30, woke briefly at 1:30, woke for good 8 ish. Grace kitty was a good snuggler, when I woke at 1:30 she was in the same position with her head under my chin, on my arm, which was quite numb!

Computer off by 2200. Lights out by 2300. Used reminders to turn off computer and then to put down my book. Didn't get to sleep until 3ish. Up by 1000.
Still a work in progress.

wynken - looks like you got a decent night's sleep again! Used reminders/alarms to turn off computer at 2200 and put down book at 2300. Went downstairs for a snack, and lights out by 2315. So I call that a win. Woke up without the alarm at 0930 and was out of bed by 1000. I call that progress! I am getting back on track after a several days of late nights and late mornings.

in bed at 10:30, up at 4:30 then napped from 7:30 till 10:30. It's really hard to stay awake at times during the day, but that is what I need to do so I can sleep at night.

I threw out my back yesterday. I was in so much pain I could barely walk, but still had to go feed the animals. I took a couple of aspirin before I left (anything else would make me too loopy to drive)drove down, fed, stopped to fill up with gas and get a few groceries and came home. I cooked & ate supper and the just watched TV till bedtime. I took a pain pill and went to bed. About midnight, I woke up as I was turning over to a large popping sound in my back. It went back into place. I was so relieved that I slept till 8:30 this morning. I'm sore, but no sharp pains. Sleeping all night was good!

yay bobolink and imamess. Glad there has been a natural fix for your back Ima. Do you have any PT style back exercises to strengthen the muscles that hold it in place? me bed at 11.15. that much looks good. lights out at 12.40. , to sleep straight away, woke maybe 6. rose 8.15.

I've slept all night the last two nights but up at 2:30. I didn't have a nap yesterday, but had a disturbing phone call late last night. I think it was the phone call that did it. It was meant to be kind and helpful, but my mind was whirling when I went to bed. UGH! I just want to sleep at night and not nap every 4 hours.
