Sleep schedule fell apart, starting with the large quantity of dark chocolate I ate Friday evening and that kept me awake most of the night.

Oh no bobolink. Hope you had a better night last night. I've gotten my light off by 10-ish the last two nights and awake by 7 ish. The lambs are going through the night without a bottle though they are waking around 6:15 when there is a small bit of light in the sky. They clip clop around my bedroom but aren't baahing for their bottles until they know I'm awake.

Angela, last night was good, though I didn't make it out of bed until some time after 1030.

I'm off again, been staying up, then reading til 1 or 2. What considerate lambs, not bleating until they know you are awake. My dog does a dance to wake me, or jumps against the side of the bed sometimes. He knows I don't like him barking, unless its something important.

Back to trying to lay down as early as I can manage. It does make such a difference.
So last night I laid down at 9:30, watched my little tv show on the phone then went right to sleep with an audiobook.
Woke this morning at 6:45, got up and fed lambs then laid back down for about an hour to stay warm while the space heater warmed things up in the sitting room.

Bedtime okay. Stayed in bed extra 30 minutes, so up at 0930 instead of 0900

Well done bobolink. Was gone for a family thing last night so home late, in bed late but not too terribly, 11:45 I think. Woke at 7:45, think I slept through the night, don't remember waking anyhow.

And well done you too, angela. I'm starting to wake up in the morning without the alarm - getting 9ish hours of sleep. I may have this thing licked.

Light out was 12. No reading. Rose after 8. I am totally unsure of hours slept.

Getting up this morning was a bust.
Am going to stop posting on this thread. I am logging sleep habits in the 52 Habits thread. Also looks like I have the bedtime thing sorted.

Okay bobolink, I'll miss you. Really glad you've got the bedtime thing sorted, I know everything changed for me when I committed to a different bedtime routine. Late late night yesterday, long day of family doings then home to another new lamb. Got the other two lambs in the bedroom, fed, and settled down. We also "lost" an hour last night by moving our clocks forward an hour so I didn't actually get my light off until 1-ish!

angela - I changed my mind Getting used to the time change - stayed in bed until 0930 instead of getting at 0900 as planned. Evening was good.
