Yes, flotsam, my neighbour is worth his weight in gold. He is absolutely wonderful whenever I need some help. But I do not want to abuse him so I ask him only when I really need it. I washed dinner dishes, put some things away and now enjoy my audiobook. Any other Arthur Ransome's admirers here? I am listening to Pigeon Post now. And I coloured a mandala.

Lucie, when I first read your post I thought I remembered once having a book of illustrations by the author you mentioned, but in thinking about it, it was Arthur Rackham, not Arthur Ransome! That's what comes from having so many books, I mix them up! TML, good for you for getting donations out--last week I finally got a bunch of bags of book donations out and it made me feel so much lighter! I'm going to work here this evening, my only goal for tonight is to get all rooms in order, yesterday was busy and I had no ambition when I got home, so I left messes around. I would like to start tomorrow morning with a neat apartment. I'm going to put on some good music and try to get moving. Diane

I slept in until mid-afternoon. I'm still in my jammies. I haven't done anything today yet except eat breakfast and watch cartoons and water my plants. But now I will... - put on some music and try to get moving like dtesposito - write my to-do list - wash the dishes

Hi Papermoon, or I guess I should say, "good morning"!
I have gotten 6 out of 12 rooms/areas under control. Also did a few miscellaneous things, going to stop now and have a grilled cheese sandwich, then I will continue!

Dishes are washed and kitchen is spotless. I'm dressed, made up, and anointed with perfume. Now out for a walk and groceries...

Finished 4 more rooms, so 10 out of 12, that leaves 2 to finish tomorrow, not too bad. I'm going to get ready for bed now and have an early night--I need to get up to go shopping in the morning before my paid work starts.
Papermoon and anyone else working tonight, I hope you get a lot done!

I just got home. That was a 2-hour round trip walking/shopping excursion. I'm tired and hungry!
Will put away the groceries, and have some yogurt and fruit and almonds for lunch.

Hmm, looks like I'm all alone yet again.
I've had my lunch and a big glass of water, but I'm still feeling tired. I'll keep going, but slowly.
Next, in no particular order... - refill my weekly pillbox - make the bed - clean the litterbox - empty the trash and compost - 24 minutes decluttering the backlog of research emails

Hi papermoon, Diane, Lucie & TML, well done on all of your achievements. I have been off line for a couple of days, busy with non-house related things, but have stayed on top of dishes every day. Now it is crunch time, with a house guest due to stay at the end of this week and lots of stuff to get done. So far I have completed a load of washing & hung to dry, new load in washer. I plan to start work by vacuuming the hall and putting stuff away in living room.

Ok, I haven't started vacuuming just yet, but spent time getting floor clear in order to vacuum. Now I need to find a missing part to the vacuum before I can start using it. As you can see, I don't use the vacuum very often - I think this is because I don't like the machine itself, it is awkward to use and it is a pain to get out of storage. Hmm, maybe sometime in the future I need to see if I can find a vacuum I will enjoy using. Or find a better storage solution for the current vacuum.
Some of the things that I have done today: Phone calls: rang family members for weekend catch up and left message for neighbour (luckily she wasn't home as she likes to talk & I don't have time for that just now) Planned evening meal - will use minced lamb & falafels in freezer, together with tabouleh salad for a middle eastern style meal

Hi jendela. Your dinner sounds yummy. I'm planning a midnight cheese platter, at which point I will go offline until Monday. Let's see, it's 10:45pm now. That leaves me only an hour-plus to get a few more things done. I still haven't cleaned the litterbox. Guess that's next, ready or not.

Hi papermoon, good luck tacking the litter box. I forgot that I changed the litter earlier today, so that is something else achieved. I hope that you enjoy your cheese platter & a pleasant Sunday offline. There has been a late change to our meal plan - looks like it will be pasta instead, as there is ravioli in the fridge that needs to be used. Done: 2nd load of washing completed and hung to dry, new load in washer Put clean clothes away, using new velvet covered hangers - my girlfriend swears by them, she says they take up less space and the velvet stops clothes from falling off the hanger. I am hoping I haven't wasted my money. Prepared oats for tomorrow Put some other stuff away

My ta-das...
- pillbox refilled for the week - prescriptions reordered by phone - litterbox scrubbed and refilled fresh - bathroom sink cleaned, and mirrors shined - trash and compost emptied, and bins relined - daily mail processed
I'm going to check out now and go do my digital decluttering, then unplug until Monday.
Here's wishing everybody a productive and/or relaxing Sunday.

Good morning work alongers. I have just had my breakfast, made my bed and prepared a dessert for lunch. I have finished listening to Pigeon POst last night and started yet another book. And I am downloading a new one right now, so I will be at the computer all day. Well my leg muscles tell me they deserve it after yesterday. I am going to iron while listening.
