arrrgggghh I need to do so much stuff and just want to go back to bed with head under covers. It is hard to figure out what to do first.
I already had breakfast so that is out of the way
All dishes washed and put up
Fridge is cleaned out
I want to drop off mending at dry cleaners
Figure out menu and get groceries
Clean litter boxes (I cleaned the one in the bedroom last night right before bed and this morning it is killing me)

Have a good day at work, cyn. Good work on dishes and the fridge, TML. Re: handkerchiefs: I have an old machine which uses lots of water, and as far as I remember (I guess it was dtesposito who talked about it with Europegirl), there's a difference with machines in Europe and the US: our machines heat the water (often you can choose between 30/60/90°C = 86/140/194°F). It also helps to know that only my stuff is in the machine. I hung up the laundry and *drumroll* I washed the bathroom floor . (Washing floors is my least favourite chore.) Enough for today .

You too, cyn! I went to the grocery store, put everything away, washed dishes, wiped counters, started dinner prep, washed 1 load of laundry, booked laundry room for tomorrow, changed sheets and towels.

Yes, I think this makes a big difference.
Good night to anyone who's at the end of their day!
I'm home from my mid-day job, I have the rest of the afternoon and evening, and I am determined not to waste it. I'm going to make a little list of areas still to declutter since otherwise I seem to move around aimlessly and don't target anything in particular. By tomorrow I would like to start some cleaning, so everything has to be put away.

Made dinner and a big Finnish pancake (different than American pancakes), big enough to have enough for tomorrow too. Washed all dinner dishes, and kitchen is tidied. Threw away expired peppermint extract. Got my laundry and hung it up to air dry, before that I folded and put away already dried clothes. Watered house plants. Poured drain opening liquid (?) down to the shower drain.
That's it for today. I didn't get any studying done but otherwise it's been a nice day.
Good luck everybody who are still working, remember to relax a bit too! (It's so lovely to go to a clean bed toningt!)

I'm having a very unproductive weekend. Last week was tough at work and the apt was not put back in order after the kid's Xmas search. So my horde is scattered a bit and I don't know what is where. There are 5 boxes if my kitchen stuff in the middle of what used to be a clutter free dining room and the dining room table is in the center of the living rooom. More than that I had the maintenence guy here yesterday working on the ceiling in the small bedroom (nervous sweat running down my face, for no current reason)
I'll be happy to rinse the dishes and remove last night's and today's clutter from my nightstand. I will pick up some cat litter after work tomorrow cause the box is in need of tending. Thank you Scooter for taking full advantage of our walks! Oh I put away the folded clothes already! No new messes in kitchen or bedroom anyway. I will be able to prepare my contribution to Thanksgiving in a clean kitchen, everyone will appreciate that... chadow

I got busy this AM and never got back here. I hung up clothes for about 35 minutes. The bedroom closet floor is now bare of bags - but there is still more in other parts of the bedroom. Then I had a bath, makeup, dressed and went and picked up my friend B and we went out for lunch. Had a great chat, as always. We just went to a small restaurant, nothing fancy. On the way back we stopped at my work and I went in and got my schedule - and as I assumed, I work tomorrow. Afternoon. Dropped B off and I got gas - and a bottle of washer fluid - on my way home. Just changed and I'm having a coffee. I am sooo tired! My kitchen remains a mess - still lots of things looking for a home - so I will start there after my coffee, and maybe put more away in my bedroom. I'd like to just get 1 room close to finished!

Hi chadow, well done for putting clothes away, and no new messes in kitchen and bedroom. Good luck with the Thanksgiving cooking - I am finding it a lot more fun to cook in a clean kitchen. Hi hollyhock, I am enjoying a mocha coffee too. I plan to get to work after I have finished, starting by making a weekend phone call to family. Then I will get back to my earlier list of to-dos.

Well, after my last post I got called to do a last-minute dog walk, so went out and did that, then when I got home I had to motivate myself all over again! I did start working, finally, and have actually started on my main desk--something I've been putting off. So far I've categorized most of the stuff on there, now I have to get rid of various piles. Hi all dtesposito, I have to commend you on being able to just get up, go to work, and come back home and get remotivated again - that must be very hard. I know I find it extremely difficult to do. I got 1 sink of dishes done, and then....... I got ALL the rest of my clothes put away!!!!! I have way too many clothes but since I have no clue what life I am going to lead right now, I'm keeping them. And I still need to add a couple of more casual pants to the lot. But just getting those bags all put away has opened up more floor space for me. Yippee. I will do 1 more sink of dishes, and then call it a night. Since I ate a big meal at noon, I'm just going to be eating something light tonight.
