Thank you! She plays and jumps around & doesn't act like anything is wrong...
Here's what my yesterday and the night before (Friday night -- Did an all-nighter) was like:
Made decisions re: where everyone is going to sleep.
Started in DS's room -- removed set of drawers from his room & put in hallway
Removed CD/DVD shelves from his room & put in hallway.
Did measurements of furniture & wall spaces. Decided how I would arrange furniiture & what would/wouldn't fit where... and what would hopefully fit, etc.
Moved desk to wall across the room.
Scooted DS's bed over a little.
Brought the bed frame into DS's bedroom that I had removed from Mini Storage and had been waiting in the car.
Also, brought in 2 comforters that I had dry cleaned last week & had not brought in, yet. Put my big one in the Office & put DS's old one in his room.
After I had removed those shelves & set of drawers... I vacuumed & picked up junk that had been left behind on the floor.
Vacuumed where the desk had been.
Set up the bed frame.
Removed bedding from DD's bed
Removed desk chair from DD's room
Removed mattress from her bed
Removed Box Springs from her bed
Put Box Springs & Mattress on the frame. Whew! I thought it was going to be just barely too big, but it fit just right!!!
Put linens, blanket, comforter on the new bed.
Found pillows for both my parents & put pillow cases on them.
Put extra blanket at foot of one bed
Put comforter on DS's old bed
Put linens from DD's bed that I removed earlier... into my clothes hamper
Hung all the clothes & hangers in her closet and some in my closet that were hanging on DD's closet door knobs
Put decorative pillows on top of both beds
So, although the 2 beds don't match... at least they were able to be pushed together and are warm and comfy. I fell asleep for a couple hours on one of them... until the dogs climbed on the bed with me. Hurried them off and out of that room & closed the door. That room looks nice even though the comforters don't match!
Did all the above while DH was sound asleep on the couch in the den...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fed dogs a little food
Went to sleep in my bed for about an hour until DH woke me up. He wasn't sure about the dogs
Got up so that New Dog would get up and go outside & then eat. She had been snuggling me in my bed. And, didn't want to leave me.
Got her to go outside & to eat her food, then got her to go with DH in the Van to Dog's Play. Also, got dog food ready for DH to take for them.
Went back to sleep for another hour.
Went to services.
Came home & changed from my dress clothes to blue jeans
Washed sinkful of dishes
Removed my computer from the TV table in the den
Picked up all the Dog's Water Bowls & poured them out & wiped them out. Put them in the garage temporarily.
Put away DH's hair brush
Removed my contact lens stuff, cosmetics & hair brushes from the front bathroom sink counter
Removed tons of stuff from the Office and moved it to DD's room.
Found spot in a closet for DH to put the clothes that he had hanging on the Office door.
Got DH to go thru clothes that I thought were too big for him now that he's been on Nutrisystems for over a year & these clothes had been left on top of the sofa sleeper in the Office. He is giving them all away
I put all the Giveaways that I had been piling in the Office & put them in the Entry Hall so I can take them as soon as possible.
Let House Cleaning Service in to start doing more cleaning. It went pretty well.
There were 3 this time. Not the same team as before. They were here for 1 hr and 45 min.
Emptied kitchen trash & replaced bag
Picked up dogs from Dog's Play
DH tossed suit coat. It was really expensive, but it was torn and irreparable.
I still have tons more to do & am in behind in what I had scheduled...
Oh well... so what else is new?!
