And I am not speaking about limiting the sugar anymore Lucie, good work on the sorting. What do they smell like--just metal? Or something else....? Diane

Maybe old metal, probably other stuff, when I open the old closet where all this was stored, it stinks. I am getting rid off it as soon as my parents come again. I have already asked my dad to build me an open shelf instead of it.
Ok, this is it. I am going to eat as little sugar as posible in February. Very few clothes fit me now.

FINALLY I mopped the floor! That has been one of my weekly goals since this thread started. I've also swept the floors several times this week and cleaned and tidied the coffee table and kitchen table several times. It helped that I had a repairman in Thursday and nephew in yesterday.
My goals for next week are the same Tidy the coffee table and kitchen table at least once a day. Sweep the floors every other day Mop the floors once a week.
Plus I'm adding a new one. Put away the things in piles in the living room.

Very few clothes fit me now.Yeah, I'm starting to get that feeling too lucie--although I'm not yet willing to try giving up the sugar. Maybe later. FINALLY I mopped the floor! Ima! Yesterday I figured out how many minutes per day working on clutter piles I would consider a successful week, and I came up with 20 minutes per day. So yesterday I did as much as I could, and did a little over half the number of minutes required for the whole week, to consider this week a success. I still have tonight, and I will try very hard to finish that number of minutes. I'm going to try this year to not miss a goal two weeks in a row, so I have to make this one. My dining room table looks a lot better after I worked on it yesterday, and then I started on desks--I will concentrate on the LR piles tonight since that room is seen by anyone who comes in my door. Hmmm, I haven't quite decided on this week's challenge. Maybe drawing every day? Yes.
Also I have a very difficult email to write and send this week.
AND an art activity - will go to the art gallery and the Clay and Glass Gallery.
So, three things, but doable.

Yippee, I got the big tub in the craft room organized onto the existing shelves. And that motivated me to do the same with a box of yearbooks and other "memento" type books.
So, for this week...
This week's goal is a slight change in direction- to do my therapy "homework" each day before my appt on Friday. I've been putting it off.

Did some grocery shopping today - the frozen food. Had some bread with chocolate spread for dinner. If I want to limit sugar, I need to buy something else to eat first

I forgot to post here, but I've set a goal for this week. lucie , I never have those things at home that could seduce me. When it's in my flat, it vanishes quickly into my belly. I don't have a problem with dark chocolate (85%) though: I like it, but I'm not craving for a sugar high with it. Week 04/2016This week's goal is ... ... to set up a bullet journal (want to start using it in February). Week 05/2016This week's goal is ... ... to exercise six days out of seven. I have been slacking lately. One day is a scheduled recovery day as part of the exercise plan.

Yes, I am exactly the same. I do not buy this stuff, because I would eat it all at once. This one was a present though. There is only a tiny bit left. Still need to buy something else to eat. Good job setting your journal!

Deal with one box from the scary closet. Put few things into a box "I have no idea what that is". Have a box of keys I will have to find out where they fit. Found. More. Screws.
Finished up the chocolate spread so no more temptation.
I still have a bigger box of various cables and a box of miscellaneous stuff to sort.
Need to do more grocery shopping - mostly dairy products.

I forgot all about this thread. Happily, I have kept to the two things I wanted to commt to; drinking more water and bringing my lunch every day. I think I will stick with those.

Did the rest of my grocery shopping, now the food should last me for at least a week.
Last night I have sorted the remaining boxes form the scary closet - it was mostly cables and it was easy. Now I have a box of possibly usable cables a box of stuff I have no idea what tha is and much emptier closet I need to organise.
I have also sorted three drawers at the shoe stand - some more tools there.

The scary closet is gone! My neighbour came for some last things and took it to the dump with some of his stuff. He also took some old paint and other chemicals that need special disposal. I have organised the remaining stuff into plastic boxes, that are now nicely stacked in my pantry in the place where the new shelf will be. And the pantry is mopped.
