Hello! This week went by in the blink of an eye--where did it go???
Cando, I hope you got your hotel issue worked out this week.
Mythreecats, congrats on having so much of your place landlord ready!
I realized yesterday that I never added week 2 to my "successful goal weeks" on my ticker, so I'll do that today. However, week 3 was a total bust, I didn't do even one minute on my clutter piles. It seems like this week was hectic, even though I didn't have a very busy workweek. It was really cold starting out the week, I spent most of yesterday at my sister's, and in between I seemed to not have a lot of cleaning energy. In fact, right now I'm not even up to date with my regular decluttering and cleaning, so I'm going to extend the clutter pile goal into next week.
How did everyone else do this week?
Diane

My goals this week were a bust. I cleaned off the coffee table a few times and I swept the floor twice. The kitchen table still has piles, although they are a little neater and I still haven't mopped the floor. My excuse on the mopping is no running water. I'll try again next week.

I haven't been on this thread for so long..I can't even remember what my last challenge was...something to do with exercise, I think. Whatever it was I failed miserably at it, . Ok, so challenge for this coming week..including today... I am going to spend half hour every day putting laundry AWAY. I'm good at washing it, I'm good at drying it, but then everything gets left where its been drying, ie in the airing cupboard or on the shower rail. There it stays until it's owner wants to wear it, and then the cycle starts over again. Meanwhile, I can't get started on the black sacks of dirty laundry I bagged up before Xmas, because I know I don't have the drying space for it. Im going to have to start today, (Sunday) because I know I'm going to be busy next weekend, and probably won't have time to get any laundry done, let alone put it away.

Did all the necessary cleaning yesterday. Was not as good with the food.
Next week plan: Buy some non perishable food. I need to make some stock, my pantry is quite empty. Buy one more special devider box for nails and screws. Buy a bus tickets for a weekend visit at my sister.
Eat better food. Proper food.

Well, I thought that I met my goal of last week which was to set up a block of rooms at a hotel for DD's upcoming marriage. . . But when I went to reserve a room I was told that the block was not set up yet. I signed the agreement & received an email a couple days ago that the block was set up & even received a code. So, I guess that I still have the same main goal for this week!!! Aarrgghh!!!

It looks like I am done with this weeks challenge. I bought the bus tickets this morning, did the planned grocery shopping, my coleague brought me one devider box she does not need and my mum is getting me one more tomorrow (it is on sale at their shop). I am doing better with the food. Not eating too much junk food. Still need to work on it.
I am already setting a goal for the next week: Sort the nails and screws. Do some more grocery shopping (dairy and frozen food). Sort at least one box from the scary closet.

Cando, I'm sorry the wedding preparations are causing you so much grief. I hope you got it worked out so you don't have to worry about it anymore. Wow lucie, you're like the really smart kid in school that reads several chapters ahead of the rest of the class! I'm glad there are successes this week! Not so much for me...I had to have the cable company over again yesterday and that screwed up my plans for the day. But, I have a half week to catch up--hope springs eternal! Diane

Umm, nope, Diane. Only when it regarded actual reading books. Nothing else. I just set myself a doable task. And I won't be spending this weekend at home, so it was today or never. And I am not speaking about limiting the sugar anymore

So I am getting ahead of myself The box my coleague gave me ysterday turned out to be the right size needed - I sorted those screws and nails last night. I am glad I could put them away, they gave off quite a strong smell in the kitchen.
