Diane, when I see your ticker I'm always thinking you want to do 2016 goals
Ha--yes, I'd have to work pretty hard to do that, considering I've only done 3 successful weeks so far!
I didn't make a goal again this week, because it's a busy work week, Thursday through Sunday especially, so I didn't even want to try. I probably should have made a goal of just keeping the place looking decent through the busy days, but I guess I'll just start again next week--I want to keep going on the clutter pile goal since it's my next big step.

Hey, didn't anyone make a goal this week?? I was still really busy at the beginning of the week and figured I'd never be able to finish anything. However, I have 3 half days off in a row and have decided that I'm going to make the same clutter pile goal, I just have to squeeze it all into the end of the week. I might not finish it but anything I can do will help.
The goal time is the same, equal to 20 minutes per day, so 140 minutes for the week--that's only 2 hours and 20 minutes, so I should be able to make a stab at it.
One problem I'm seeing is that I keep making new clutter piles (duh!) so I guess this will be an ongoing thing. Although I don't count every day things that I just haven't put away, I'm only counting "project" type piles, that have been set aside temporarily to deal with later, and don't have a storage place out of sight in the meantime.
Come on folks, there are 3 days left to the week, anyone want to make a mini-goal?

Hey, Diane, I did have a goal. Only I was not at my computer since Saturday. My this weeks goal was to have my sister pick anything she wants from here. Which she did. And tomorrow she will take it away. So many things will leave my home!

Lucie, that's excellent! So do the rest go to donations, or are there still people who will look at what remains?

I didn't do last weeks goal. I know why, I was going to clean another kitchen cupboard, I was quite enjoying doing them, but hubby asked me could I move our sauces cupboard to a more accessible cupboard as its now behind a dog bed. It suddenly became a big job as the stuff is too tall for the wall cupboards and put me off. I'll have a break from them and do something else next week. I'll do a mini goal though and tidy my craft room, it has been on my task list a few times as I've been putting it off as its easy room to shut the door on as no one else goes in there. Di good luck with your piles, be fab getting those done Lucie that's great you let your sister do that xxx

Diane, most of it goes to donations when my dad comes with a car. I may add something there. A small part of it - less than a quarter - will be sold. I will do some more packing next week.

I did clean the coffee table and kitchen table off once, but I did not sweep or mop. I will keep checking in and trying to do those four things.

I am ahead of a plan this week - I put the last donations on the heap and moved all smallish things for sale to one place. I also packed the china my mum wants, now I only need to pack the china my sister wants. Which is a huge set that takes up a half of the cupboard. Sometime next week. (My week starts on Monday.)

I did not finish my time goal on my clutter piles, but I did do a little more than half the time, which helped a lot. So, the same goal for this week--2 hours and 20 minutes on clutter piles. This week is not a busy one, so I should have no problem being successful.

Well done on clutter piles Di, donations Lucie and clearing your tables inamess I got my craft room done. This weeks goal is to clean the bathroom door, easy one, but I have a busy week and it's something that's been bugging me for ages. I'll aim to take my supplements daily too.

This morning I packed the plate set my sister wants. It filled two banana boxes. I still have to pack things for sale - everything apart from furniture and breakables (glass and china).

The week is over? How did we do?
I did not finish, again, but I did about half the time I planned on. I realized that since my home wasn't "regular" clutter free yet that I shouldn't have made a goal to work on the "extra" clutter, but I did get a few things gone that have been hanging around. I really am realizing that clutter piles are a constant--that I will be able to get my place to where I feel it looks okay, but there will always be those extra piles--so this goal is going to be another one that's ongoing, instead of--"done". I guess that's okay.
Since I'm annoyed with myself for not being able to do 2 hours and 20 minutes of something over the space of a whole week, I'm going to do the same goal this week. Since I have a slow work week and am closer to "good enough", I should be able to do it this week for sure.

I packed stuff for sale and sealed boxes for donations, so they won't spill their contents when transported.
This week I need to do some shopping - washing powder, hoover bags, need to go to the post office and to 3 other places.

I've got a goal for this week: my porch will be a nice place to hang out, instead of a convenient place to toss junk! I might invite a friend over on Wed, because it's supposed to be so warm - it'll be the first day we can actually sit out there an enjoy it. Except right now, there's bags of fabric covering the chairs. And so much other mess!
