This week I will reclaim my living room and make a home for the coats that keep landing on the dining room chairs grrrrr.

I did buy the washing powder and a cotton hoover bag - no more paper bags! Went to the post office, sorted an insurance and paid 2 bills online. More errands to run tomorrow in another area.

Run the remaining 2 errands this morning. Changed the setting for internet payments (will need to change it in my bank acount as well) and made an appointment for someone to come and buy all those books and LPs. They will be gone before Easter!
I am giving myself 2 additional chores - get the electrical recycling out and get 2 small boxes of donations out.

And I got them out yesterday!
Today I have contacted someone who will take away some other boxes of stuff and will sell it. They will call me back to set the time - I need to pack and label the boxes. I have already printed the labels.

My challenge is complete: boxes of things to sell are packed, sealed and labeled. They are coming for them on Tuesday evening.
Did I scare all of you away? No one else had a challenge?

Lucie, you have great perseverance! Unlike me! I had my goal and once again, did not attain it. But, being the stubborn person I am, I'm going to try again with the same goal this week. I'm actually thinking maybe some of this is that I keep wondering about what I can count as clutter piles. But then, since the goal is just to get my place cleaner I supposed I can count anything that I've passed by when PEEPing and not worry about whether or not I'm "cheating". Okay, let's work hard this week to do something--who else wants to make a goal this week? Diane

You can do it, Diane. Maybe you can try to set he goal differently: this week you want to tidy this side of this room, regardless what you count as a pile and how many are there. Think in space, not piles.
This week I want to get out the seven boxes to sell (Tuesday) and 2 big things to rubbish as there will be a skip available nearby on Wednesday and Thursday evening.
I also want to carry on reading the library books that are due next week so I will not have to renew so many of them.

I met half my goal, the coats taking up residence on the back of the chair have been moved to the unused rod in Dss's closet.
I'm going to recycle my goal of reclaiming my living room this week.
So far most my Christmas stuff that was strung around has been reboxed and I decluttered several old, ratty things I'll never use again.
Once my Christmas things are taken care of I need to get all the donation things together and out of the house. Then it'll be on to the "easy" boxes from storage.

My porch is *much* better than it was, but there's still lots to do - so my next goal back there is to get rid of 2 bins a week. IDK how that's going to go, but I can try.

My bedroom and craft/office space are getting cluttered and are filthy. I badly need to vacuum -- it is my most dreaded housekeeping task. So I will deal with all the clutter AND vacuum both rooms. De-cluttering starts today.

Hope everyone completes their goal xxx

I am annoyed because they have not shown up for the boxes to sell. I sent them an email and hope they will contact me soon. At least I prepared things to take to the skip tonight next to the door and took away recycling - I had a lot of paper.
I returned two of the books that are due on Monday.

Seashell, you can come vacuum here too--in exchange, I'll do your laundry--I love doing laundry!
Womble, cleaning doors is a great goal--I'm going to add that to my list of future weekly goals, if I can ever get beyond the one I've been trying for four weeks now. Actually, I should make it this week, yesterday I was off most of the day and finished 3/4 of my weekly time goal on clutter piles, so I think this week I will be successful.
