Good morning everypony!
Velcrokitty can't have breakfast because he is going to the vet this morning and they might need to put him under. I am getting the proverbial "WTF Karen?" face! Poor kitty.
I took a picture of the thermometer--we usually don't get into the 20s until Jan and Feb. The emergency heat was on when I woke up, and I had it turned down to 65. At least I laid out warm clothes last night, which will make it a bit easier to get dressed.
I am feeling the pressure of my deadline--D is talking up the party as an elegant affair with lots of surprises, so I really want to deliver! I am happy that I enlarged my projects last night to include the office, cause it has been a dumping ground for the last five weeks and I really need to address it before I go. PLUS I located a lot of important/urgent paperwork that I knew was in there, just not sure which pile. I have SO many sorting boxes in the LR, which will bug DXH, so I hope to wrap this up today while watching the news.
Its a pain to set up all the "buckets" but it makes it so much easier to get through the process quickly when I've got a big mishmash of stuff like I do with this.

Good morning! Oust, you must still be on vacation time to be up working in the middle of the night! You had better not ever go away again, it sounds like the place exploded while you weren't there to supervise. Magda, sounds like you got overnight snow, we didn't get any additional, but it's cold again (high of 29) so it's not going to melt the icy sidewalks. They moderated the warmup so that it won't reach 40 until Monday, but Friday should be above freezing so things will start to melt. Hello wabbit, good luck with your list today! Scholar, I don't know who D is, but tell her(?) that if she expects elegant, she needs to come and do the elegant part--you don't have time for that! I hope you collect lots of stuff to give away, I do like the idea of inviting friends to help get rid of stuff! I'm home all day today again, and will be watching the impeachment proceedings as much as I can while still getting things done. Before I even started breakfast, I pulled all the winter clothes out of my closet (remember, I have very little clothing) and tried everything on. With my weight creeping up slowly for the past several years I have a few things that are way too small and it's time to get rid of them. The good stuff still has some things to be washed and ready for this year so that's in the laundry area, I will do it slowly along with regular loads over the next week. TO DO: Finish breakfast Clean up from breakfast Put last of clothing sort away Go through some files Diane

Good heavens magda, those meetings are really out of control. Do they always end on time, or do they linger on?

Good point, Diane, except she did come last weekend and helped me make it elegant! And then I went and posted pics of my 1st tablescape... I have a couple people who said they would come early to help, fortunately. Anyway, I am using it to push back into action after 5 days off.
Turns out Velcrokitty's appointment is tomorrow. Well it got me out of bed early, at least.
DONE: caffeinated got dressed posted to messenger went to the vet came back home found C-SPAN3
okay, now back to the sorting!

Good morning momof3!
I was planning on just going through a couple of files for my file purging project, but since I want to stay in the living room, I have gotten about half way through my condo files--and that includes the years I was secretary and all the old paper going back to my first years here. I think I will continue on this project even though it may not be priority one.
I just temporarily stopped file organizing and did a few other things, including starting a load of laundry, starting some dishes soaking, sterilizing sponge/microwave cleaning, and filling up my water containers so I can water some plants.
Now, back to the files!

Stopping to stretch, move the laundry to the dryer, wash a pan full of dishes, and get a snack.
I am FINISHED with the condo files, I can't believe I'm done, this was a job I was dreading. I have a big stack of recycling, a stack of things to return to the current board when I leave, and a pile of shredding which I will work on across the day so as not to overheat the shredder.
Since I still want to be at my desk in the living room, I'm going to continue on files, this time on my old pet care client files.

Diane WTG on condo file !
My meetings mostly end on time as we all have to scurry to the next one, and a saving grace is that the conference rooms are booked so when we finish, there is generally a group waiting to come in.
So I just had lunch. Packed from home. Surfed on internet and social media too cold to go out around 20 f
Now off to the 1:30 to 3. This is led by a chaotic person. I will have to work hard to listen and not get lost in my thoughts

Oh, that's good!
I have finished going through all of my past pet care client files, only keeping current ones (of which there are only 6) and only saving the name and phone number of the old clients. I had saved notes from the client, notes from me, etc., so this was a somewhat sad trip down memory lane. There were very few animals I ever cared for that I didn't become instantly attached so I guess I miss all of them. But I'm pleased that that job is over with also.
I moved the laundry to the dryer and will hang it up as soon as it's tumbled for a while--I also have the last pan of dishes soaking.
I'm now going to have lunch, and after that will have to spend some time on data entry.
