Then it will be time for lunch. I was SO disappointed yesterday to find that the series I like so much, Astrid, is no longer on Amazon Prime! It is available on a PBS streaming station that I would have to pay for, but I'm going to wait and see if it comes back to Amazon Prime at some point. When I'm paying for Amazon Prime already I can't justify more monthly payments for movies when I watch so few of them. So I'll have to find another series to watch for now.

I worked yesterday and made some deliveries on the way home
Nursing home called at 6am to tell me my dad had what appeared to be a boil under his arm. Really? I never heard the phone ring thank goodness. They called me at 1am this fall to tell me he had a lump on his neck which ended up being a huge abscess that ended up draining. they called this afternoon to say that they want to take him to a surgeon to have it removed. really?
busy day today. several car loads out of the house. I got two more shelves moved over. they are a tad smaller than I imagined them in my mind - but they fit better. I also picked up an extension cord so I was able to get the lamp plugged in. I have a table and lamp in front of the window and it looks so nice. I plan on getting some of my CD's up there so that I can also listen to some music.
DH is back at work following his surgery. Lets see how this goes.
DS was here to help carry the shelves upstairs so he took his clean laundry and moved the garbage cans to the curb for me. I still have some trash to take out but I can walk a few extra feet to do so.
ok. break time
ok - taking a quick break then back to work

Good afternoon ohblondie!
several car loads out of the house
The dog did want to go out so that's perfect timing for tonight.
Next I'm going to post in the challenge thread again and then it'll be time for dinner. It feels like I've been moving all day but haven't checked that many things off my to-do list. Or maybe my list is just too long.

Done: Sprayed down shower Put away laundry Changed hand towels in en suite Emptied dishwasher Stacked and ran dishwasher Folded and bagged clean laundry Achieved coffee table zero Achieved dining table zero Achieved floor clothes zero
Still very much in the time of year where I have to just focus on maintenance. I'm looking longingly at decluttering projects but just don't have the bandwidth for it.

Hello reve!
I'm looking longingly at decluttering projects
I remember those days--you're doing great getting as much done as you are when work is all-consuming.
It's time for me to get ready for bed--good night, see you in the morning!

Hi !! Did most of the dailies and some laundry. Put many things where they belong. Some had been on that loveseat that I cleared off a couple of days ago. Things are looking better, except for the doom room den.
Unloaded the DW. Took some heavy things up to the attic.
Talked to my BFF in CT. Texted with my friend, Dot.
I was not up to par today and just cooked the chicken instead of making the chicken soup.
My best to all,

Good morning!
Catcats, I hope you feel better today.
The dog had a very short panting session last night, she started, then stopped, then started and stopped--the whole thing was only 5 minutes but I'm afraid now in case she's going to be anxious at night again. I don't think there was anything different about yesterday evening. She was fine for the rest of the night, but I kept waking up.
Today will be cooler, the high somewhere around 40, but the whole week ahead has nothing under 40 for a high, so we continue with the mild weather.
Happy Friday, everyone!

Oh Diane I hope your pup does not start being anxious again!
I need to take a chill pill myself!
yesterday I had my plans kind of changed -- I ended up going in for a meeting that would be easier to have in person. I also had some documentation that was due and so I submitted that. So I made three deadlines.
Left and stopped at store as cupboards were bare. on the way home I rec'd a note that I forgot to sign documentation, so I had to stop at library as I don't have a printer or scanner at home. So I had to log in, get in email, and file seemed corrupted ugh. went to a different terminal. managed to print docs, sign, and scan to me as an email. Had trouble sending one file...finally fixed it out. thankfully had some money on me to pay for the copying. this was really not a big deal in the scheme of life but it was prob all told 45 minutes...so I was late to my walk for puppy and late to my dinner. I just felt so defeated as I had planned it all out, and why could it just no work. it was my fault (and one other person's) as we forgot to sign the docs. but added stress and I was just feeling defeated as i so wanted to be on time!
dinner was nice and a pleasant break to just be at a dinner w out having to answer to the demands of my needy animals!
I did my full night time routine
now I am home, dropped puppy off at daycare, returned a library book, trying to do some work.
girlcat is chirping and whining endlessly. she wil sit and do a whine chirp for 40 minutes straight need earplugs!

Good morning bree! Oh, don't you hate those things that should be simple and there's a glitch that takes a chunk of time to fix. May your day today be peaceful (as soon as girlcat settles down for a nap).
