Diane it was truly just a moment of pure joy!!
So I have to get moving. I’m going to set the timer for one hour, and I am going to do the following. Dishes Clean stove top Clean main kitchen counter Sweep floor Vac floor Mop floor Fold and put away a load of laundry Vac dining room Vac stairs Tidy dining room table That might be a lot for one hour, but I’m going to see because I’m often surprised at how quickly certain tasks can get done

catcats what a terrible day for you, I am so sorry. I hope today is an easier, brighter day for you.
bree how sweet that your furry child delights everyone she meets! I get a big smile just thinking of her curiosity and happiness. It's like having the loveliest, sweetest, most well-behaved toddler in the room, everyone is bathed in her positive vibes and your heart can't help but swell up with pride and joy! Like Diane, I also am impressed with your one hour list!!
TwinkleToes those *foul mood for no reason at all* times are so annoying. I hope it passed quickly.
I slept most of the night, woke up at 10:00 a.m. to peace and quiet, tuned over and woke again at 1:20 p.m. DD2 said she woke this morning too and said she was so happy there was no banging she went right back to sleep. This is a beautiful, sunny day for us to recharge, then back at it with the 6:30 a.m. alarm for me tomorrow. I am not a morning person at all unless I step outside on the elevated deck. Then I can appreciate the absolute beauty of my back yard ~ soft light just before sunrise this time of year, fresh clean air, birds waking up, a low mist creeping across the grass, the grove of cherry trees still blooming way down at the back end.
Anything that gets done today will be slow and easy.

Danny, it must feel good to have silence today.
After lunch I went to the first floor and worked on it for a while. The kitchen is still messy and needs a lot of work, plus there are a few cardboard boxes still to cut down, including the massive one that the shower doors came in. But the rest of the first floor looks good.
Upstairs, if you don't count the plant room, which I never do, the messiest room is the porch room where I spend all my time. The potting area in the reading room looks bad but it usually does. The bathroom and hallway and kitchen area are okay.
It's been drizzling on and off all day, but a few hours ago got really windy and now it's raining a little harder. It feels so chilly in here again. They've changed the forecast for next week--it originally showed several days in the mid-to upper 60s but now there's only Monday--the rest range from 53 to 63, so it will be chilly again. That's good, the heat will be here soon enough.

I've been working on the porch room, the messiest place, and it looks way better. I'm still dealing with some things I took out when I started the fridge cleaning, I will continue that tomorrow, there will be more for compost.
I think the rain finally stopped, and tomorrow will be warmer so maybe I can get some yard work done then.
I still have some time before I have to go to bed so I will keep working on the second floor.
Good night everyone, see you tomorrow in the weekday thread!

hi everypony!
((( catcats))) totally understandable that you would react more than usual right now. grief is so hard!
so comforting to check in. I am frustrated at my level of fatigue lately. Need to be patient and accept "what is." And savor the good things about each day.
Yesterday I finished dressing my dolls and did a photo shoot. That was very satisfying, even if it meant I was done for the day.
Today I slept in, and then got ready to coach my new friend/art teacher as she is learning about learning cycles, objectives, creating a syllabus, etc. DVD drove me and picked me up. She wrote the sweetest card!
I'm not sure what else I will get done today. hope I can find the sweet spot between resting and getting some things done to make tomorrow a bit better.

I did a few things to try and keep things going here
I did a Sams run after work, 11 items on my receipt enough to restock basics. I usually buy 5 half and half at a time as they have a long shelf life and we use it every day for coffee or hot chocolate I washed about 8 dishes and put them in the DW to dry Dh did most of the other things He cooked himself his food on the stovetop grill
The floors are getting more covered with things again. i try and keep my feet up when i get home. I have 2 painful warts on both feet that i keep filing down but should probably look in the footcare section at walmart for something,Not sure how to treat them though.... Oh i did a huge load of laundry that DH carried upstairs so i could hang to dry. I have been working in a very dusty area outside lately so my clothes got covered whenever a car or truck would go by. Tomorrow DH has said he will head outside for yardwork that is still not done. I tried for 3 nights to go out and pull weeds but some are stronger than others and he said he will try and do some.
