My initial plan was to include a morning walk with my dog but it is pouring out today so that won't happen....Iwould love to plan an hour of cleaning, an hour of daily type housework( dishes. Laundry etc) and an hour of serious decluttering type work.
Ohblondie, I love this!
Adding some dog walks to the week will make Cali happy but will also let you notice things about the neighborhood and see peoples' gardens. Plus it's great exercise!
Aiming for an hour is also good because it's so easy to let the day slip away before you realize it, using timers makes you aware of how much you're getting done (or not getting done).
I'm so happy for you!

I had a good lunch and a reading break, and now I'm going to put the hang up the shower curtain. By then it should be time for my phone call.
I finally got my order of bird seed, they had to cancel the order and I had to reorder. So annoying, now I have to keep checking to make sure they give me a credit for the first order. They had no explanation of why they were "unable to deliver" the first time.

Today has been one casualty after another.
Last night I was backing out of a spot and my front bumper must have gotten caught on the curb thing when I pulled in. It ripped part of my bumper off. Hopefully my son can snap it back in place. I am changing sheets and running everything through the dryer because I think my sweet callie has fleas In making the bed one of the slats holding up the box spring shifted and the bed started to collapse My drink spilled all over my coat (when I was in the car getting something to fix the bed) I went to a 3pm meeting wet from the spill I got turkey to make a sandwich and turned my back and Callie ate it And of course. anything that could or should be a simple fix is that much harder for us messies and hoarders. I cant find a hammer. no place to shift the mattress or box spring when I try to glue and fix things
I am skipping my PTO meeting and folding sheets

Oh no ohblondie, not a very pleasant 2nd day of retirement! But at least you have time now to deal with these things--and as you declutter your home things will be easier to deal with. Poor Cali--I hope she doesn't have fleas--but at least she got a good snack today!
I'm going to have another early bedtime today--good night everyone, see you in the morning!

oust, you must have been so tired. Hope you get some rest. Did only some of the dailies and took down the trash. Washed some linens, but they are still in the washer. Too tired to flip them. Picked up Tim's holy cards and death certificates. His last batch of papers and laptops are still on LR floor. Beginning to worry that things are slipping around here. My best to all. catcats

Good Morning x
I think that's understandable catcats. It always surprised me how quickly things slip, a few hours home not tidying as I go and the whole house looks very different.
I got so far yesterday and then had to dash to the vets as our dog was deteriorating quickly bless him. We let him go. I'm a bit lost today and don't know what to do with myself. House is quiet and our other dog keeps looking at me unsure. She's currently sleeping on my feet.
I've finished most of downstairs, just need to spray kitchen and tidy surfaces and work on upstairs as need to spray bedroom carpets. I started it thinking it would ready for him to come home and not be around the chemicals so it feels sad, but I need to get it done for Honey.
Strip bed Wash load in
Hoover stairs and spray Tidy pile in kitchen
Hoover upstairs Mop bathroom Mop bedroom Filled back garden peanut feeder Spray everywhere Wash and fill front peanut feeder

Good morning, everyone. Claiming read back amnesty. I am attending a virtual conference online today for work, so I can listen to the presenters while I clean and organize. I really have one big goal I want to focus on today - my kitchen. I think I am going to play Race to 100 in my kitchen. In that game, I count every action and every item until I get to 100. Then I update my DONE list and take a little break. Then I repeat the process.
Done:
Replied to two important work emails Deleted ten personal emails

Good morning TT!
Catcats, .
I'm waiting for the library to open, I have books to return and to pick up. There was supposed to be a plant cutting give-away this week but I never got an email saying it was ready, so I'll check on that too.
I think the rain has stopped and it will be clear today but around 60, then it gets warmer for the next 5 days. So much yard work to catch up on.
