Another early night for me, so I can wake up bright and early in the morning for another long day in the yard. It will be warmer than Friday, so I will have to go inside for breaks.
Bexie, keep going--short work periods add up to things getting done!
Good night everyone!

desposito Diane, I am always in awe of how much work you put into all your plants! You treat them so tenderly!
I got thru 3 plastic, covered bins of paper. The bins are about 6 inches deep and 12 x 12 inches long and wide. It had been rough sorted a long time ago so this was more about what needed to be saved/filed and what was old enough to toss.
All food in 2 fridges and pantry back in shape. I had ordered a lot of stuff a few weeks ago, protein drinks that DD1 had put in basement fridge and dry goods for the pantry in the kitchen and the long-term prep room in the basement. She did a good job but she forgot to rotate the older things from the back to the front. We worked on that and she'll remember in the future.
Quick cleans in 2 bathrooms. Thoroughly cleaned 6 litter boxes. I got all trash together and DD1 took 2 cans to the road. Got an order from Chewy yesterday so DD1 organized canned cat food and transferred dry cat food to smaller bins while I worked on some mats on one Tabby Sister.
Checked when 2 library books are due. This is a first for me as an adult. As a kid I was checking out books at the library every Saturday. I LOVED the walk and bringing home an armload of books on horses, dogs and cats. When I got a job I started buying books because I always wanted my own library. After decades of amassing tens of thousands of books on many subjects I sadly started to let some go as part of this process of winnowing down the hoard. There are still so many interesting books I want to buy, read and underline and keep. But now I am leaving them in my Save For Later cart in Amazon and finding them at the library. It is so hard to read and not make notes on the pages. But it's saving money (and space) and if I really, really want my own copy I can buy it. So far I have been reading, returning and not buying. That's a win. DD1 still wants to order books but she is getting better about donations to the library when she is finished. Not too big of a deal for her to buy. She gets lots of gift cards for books. She is keeping her collections of old Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys and all animal books. Some R.L Stine too.
Caught up with my brothers with phone calls. Had donut holes for dinner. Yes, we can be total kids here. Leftover Mexican for tomorrow.
Sleep well everyone.

Danny15--That lake day with your DD1 sounds lovely. I would have liked to be there with you. bree, Glad your pup is getting better and I have been there, done that with trying to pill pets. Our old Goldens were easy compared to cats though. Diane--We are having very chilly weather here too ! I did the dailies on Saturday and Sunday, took recycling to the curb, and went to Mass on Sunday. Kind of a down day on Saturday. Watched FOUR Netflix movies in a row on Sunday evening and night. Really unusual for me !! My best wishes to all for a good week coming. catcats
