At S.O.S we sometimes discuss our various pathways into squalor, & especially when posting our first introduction, but for the most part we do discuss far more often the pathways we choose/use to get out of squalor, & getting out of squalor is of course our main reason for being here.
Many of us, however, have determined or would like to determine just what it was that initially led us into the squalor. The answers are numerous, all over the map, & that can be for just one person's journey. Our minds can become a clutter-field of whys & hows & whos when searching for the very core of the matter.
This thread is an exercise in minimalism. If there were one thing, just one, that led you into squalor - what would it be? Please post your word.
This thread is also intended to be informative for our newcomers at S.O.S who may feel alone in the origins of their journey. Let us help them know how many of us have traveled along their same path.
