Hi. Having trouble getting rid of some really nice boots that I love because they look wonderful... high heeled black suede boots. I've only worn them 3 or 4 times. They really hurt my feet when I wear them. My feet do have very high arches & don't know if maybe that is why or what is wrong... I'd hate to have someone spend money for these at a re-sale shop like Good-will or other charitable organization if there is something wrong with them. they are very small as i have tiny feet, i've had them for at least 5 years. toss or give away? thanx. cd

Normally, I'd say Goodwill 'em...but we give out clothing at our church's food pantry, and since I've been working there I've noticed that they get a lot of donations of really ugly clothes. (Sorry, but it's true!). So somebody might really appreciate a decent-looking pair of boots, if you know a charity you could donate them too. Just make sure they get there! (I say that because I have a sack of clothes I wanted to take this week to the pantry and forgot!) Tiny feet?

Give away.
Everybody's feet are different - the boots aren't right for yours, but may be perfect for someone else's.

Good condition. Absolutely donate them. The only time I don't donate shoes is when they are damaged, as in too worn or otherwise ruined, such as when they were moldy from damp storage.

I definitely think you should donate them. People with tiny feet can have a hard time finding shoes. Imagine her delight in finding a pair of boots that are just her size that she can afford.

I would say either one. Whichever you can do -- to get rid of them -- if donating is too complicated or will not get done -- then give yourself amnesty. You can't really go wrong here -- 5 year old boots that are totally uncomfortable. If it's convenient and doable to donate them that's fine but if it's only going to be a pain and delay your having rid of them -- then I'd toss them!

Donate them! My oldest daughter was thrilled when she came across a pair of red cowboy boots at our local Thrift store. Someone may be just as happy to get yours!

thanks so much, y'all. I remember how thrilled I was when I found these and bought these. They are in perfect condition. Like new. And, yes, it is very hard to get fitted in nice, stylish shoes when you have a tiny foot. I will give them away. Thanks, again. CD

Give it away. It will be good for you and the person who gets shoes that fit them.

Donate or sell them on ebay and give the money to charity!

Glad you're donating them. These boots will be such an awesome find for some girl with tiny feet!
