1) The URL to the page you are on when the bug occurred. takeonestepatatime.proboards.com/thread/18094/dianes-daily-lists?page=282) What happened, in detail? I tried to change my to-do boxes to done boxes, and intead of them appearing where I had my cursor, they appear after my name at the bottom of the post. Then, when I clicked Modify to get out of the post, each checkbox now has [\img] showing after the checkbox in the finished post. 3) If you received an error message, what did it say? 4) What do you think should have happened instead? 5) Can you reproduce this on every pageview? Maybe this is because I'm trying this on a post made this morning, before the conversion? I'll try to make a new post and then change it and see if that one works. EDITED TO SAY: No, I created a new post and then tried to change/post smileys--it seems like the ones on the menu of pictures that appears when you click on smileys go to where the cursor is, but anything on the drop down word menu, or the pictures that come up under "view all smileys" appear at the very end of the post. Which is strange, because in the post I made in Byways my favorite smileys (which were in the "view all smileys" section--the bat and vacuumer) appeared where I had the cursor. EDITED AGAIN TO ADD: Duh--I think the smileys in my Byways post went to where the cursor was because I inserted them as I was typing the post, so I WAS currently at the end of the post when I clicked on them. I wasn't trying to insert them into typing that was already there. 6) What browser, version, and operating system are you using? I'm using Windows 7, Firefox....not sure of the version, but it was recently downloaded so is probably the most recent. 7) Please attach a screen shot (JPG or PNG -- not GIF or BMP) if it is relevant. |

dtesposito, I downloaded a new version of the smilies plugin, which should fix the insertion point issue with the extra smilies. Want to test it for us and report back? As for the stray image coding, switching back and forth between Visual/BBCode does that. This has been reported to ProBoards before and they continue to work on it. In the meantime, I try to get it how I want to print it before viewing the post in Visual. Hopefully, the changes in the extra smilies plugin will help lower the number of switches. Personally, I've also been known to go into a list in BBCode and replace "checkmark-do-do" with "checkmark-done" by typing it.

YES! It seems to be working now!!! Thank you so much--I felt lost yesterday without my checkboxes!
I don't think the Visual/BB Code thing should be an issue for me, I use the Visual button but not the BB Code one.
