What is a bag a day challenge?
A period of time, in which you focus on cleaning one area per day. In this one area you challenge yourself to:
declutter, simplify, decrapify, and get rid of things you don’t need.
The goal is one bag a day but you can have more or less.
The challenge in this thread will go until July 4, which is Independence Day in the USA, or You may opt to go until June 30th (SOoS hosts a Purge-A-Thon which runs June 1st - 30th.)
You may use any size bag you want. You may take a day off each week if you so desire. You may eliminate only one or two items a day if you want. You may count elimination of electronic media, email, photos, etc. You may eliminate financial squalor, those automatic subscription payments that come out of you account each month that you could do without.
Choose a starting and ending date, choose a number of bags, Post your goal, and let's get started!

Old appliance out to the trash, two bags in two days.
From Tuesday (The day after American Memorial day) to American Independence day, if you take that holiday off, is 38 days, btw. If you start Friday, it's 35. Maybe consider changing the name of the thread to the 35 day challenge, folks can jump in Friday, if they like. Part of the point, for me anyway, was the small chunks. Just a thought.
Thanks for starting the new thread, in any case.

I'm going to join this challenge. Most of my garbage is gone, but I am an email hoarder. So my goal is to delete 100 emails a day, starting Friday.

Didn't post last night, but a small maintenance bag DID go out. I was exhausted and fell asleep after that. 3 bags in 3 day, in the push to the 4th of July. Another bag tonight.

WTG June, 30 bags out is awesome. Robnoxious007 - great job getting a bag out even when tired. I've been following your progress on previous challenges, and you are doing great.

Went through a big box of crap and played "Keep or Toss." Resulted in smaller box of stuff to keep (for now) and a bag of garbage that went in the bin. 5 bags, 5 days.

I took 4 bags of trash to the dumpster yesterday and 1/2 of a bag of metal for recycling added to the bags of cans in a shed. I usually take the cans to recycle once or twice a year.
