I checked the weather report and the library site and decided I'd better make my trip out, so I went. Now I'm home again, it was just starting to rain lightly as I was coming home so it was good timing again. Clean up breakfast stuff Update book records Wash cat food dishes Clean out dishpan Diane

Drove to work this am - it was cold. I hear that it is nice out now. Over lunch I am taking my box of work Christmas deocrations to the car. Sitting here I see a stack of 6 boxes. Not sure what is in any of them. they need to be culled as well. I have a shelf of books - they need to be culled too!

Good morning everypony!
After I posted last night, I worked on my "four papers" for the 40-day challenge, and got that done and more. Stayed up way late again, though. Didn't plan on getting up this early. MIght go back to bed. I am emotionally exhausted, and writers group can be an emotional work out as well.
I made some notes for today, but I think I need to rewrite them so they are useful.
Diane, she is angry cause she is hurt, which I totally understand. But she's also interpreting my behavior in the worst possible light, causing extra pain. Meanwhile, I'm soul searching, trying to see all the decisions I made along the way that helped get us to this point of disconnect.
DONE: check calendar check AP message--reply check email delete a few start writing draft take meds check today's list start timesheet start planning day

Hello everyone -- I am just now getting caught up with online things. Wow this day has gone fast and now it's time to cook our dinner!!! DONE: * shower * bank * friend's house for energy treatment (she is practicing a new energy healing style in addition to Reiki and I was her subject or guinea pig today - it was nice!) * home ate lunch * video for book club * called mom * research online I need to go cook dinner which I've organized by not begun to cook. And then wash dishes. Then I better choose wisely. This day really got away from me. Most of the morning at my friend's house and while there DH got supplies at the grocery store. Tomorrow is another similar day as I have a counseling appointment. The spiritual center cancelled the lent service. They did a blast constant contact about it being cancelled. I hope there has not been a death or other emergency. I was not able to attend since they had it for 7 pm and I don't drive at night. WOW then after tomorrow is Friday and my husband gets to choose the activity for Friday. I've been trying to keep things simple. After being in my friend's home -- it was just so pristine and calming -- a bigger home AND very very nice WOW. I could see there is just so much to do here to clear out stuff and repair if possible or move ... It didn't depress me but it did show me what is possible. It's not clutter as much as very old home in disrepair that I deal with here at our house. There are some pluses and there is no mortgage anymore but .... there are so many issues.

Thanks, Diane. I am pulling all the stops out on this one, using my best listening, apologizing, etc. skills. I think she might have understood that her story about the whole thing didn't include very much input from me, after I received her rage and her defences came down. And there are clearly a couple of hard lessons for me in this. But I'm hoping that she'll either keep working through her feelings or be willing to keep engaging with me.

Hi Chris and shells!
After talking to my decluttering client my friend called, and we talked way too long, and now it's time to get ready to go out for my walk. It's very grey outside, so I'm going to check the weather report, it's been drizzling on and off all day but I don't know if another big rain is coming. While talking to my friend I managed to go through a few things on my desk, and I purged my 10 pieces of paper for the Lent challenge. They were notes on various books I wanted, but they were very old, so after looking the books up online I was able to say there was only one book I would like to pursue.

Good morning all.
I am feeling better today. Not energetic but not so down either. So far today I have:
Got the kids to school EARLY for the second day in a row Had a chat with another parent who has two boys the same age as mine Made myself a nice breakfast
I feel like I can face doing what must be done in relation to my work colleague, files etc today. I just needed to take some time out from it yesterday. I don't want to overcommit today because I want to achieve my goals and feel successful so:
Unpack dishwasher and tidy kitchen Do some washing Put some washing away Clear the hallway Get rid of the files Find 8 items to donate for the 40 day challenge Find stuff to throw away for 2017 items
In an ideal world I would also like to go and buy my shoes that I got a gift voucher to buy for Christmas and still haven't bought (only a quick trip because I know exactly what I want and where they are as I have picked them online) Go and buy a new mattress for my youngest son. Again, only a quick trip because it is already picked out online.
As I write my list I can see that it might be getting unrealistic again. Oh well, I'll give it a go.

Hello haywire, I hope you have a wonderful, productive day today! Magda, maybe your URI is a bacterial infection that needs antibiotics? I know antibiotics are overused so I don't usually suggest them, but if you've had this for weeks and it's getting worse maybe you have a stubborn bacteria. Is it in your chest or just in your head? I'm home from my walk, I had looked at the weather beforehand and just noticed that it didn't say rain--I was surprised to see that the temperature had dropped and there were beautiful snow flurries! So it was a lovely walk. Because of my long phone call I feel like I didn't get anything done today, so I hope to do better this evening, even if I have to stay up a little later. Some areas are getting messy again. I'm finishing up dinner and then will start at one end of my apartment and work toward the other end, doing whatever I have to do to make it look neat. Diane

*Added in the details to one of my reports as requested by annoying colleague. *Drafted email to annoying colleague explaining that I am not available for the rest of my period of leave except in case of emergency and in that case she needs to go through my manager to contact me (will send it later today when I am ready to turn off computer and ignore any response that might come in) *Cleaned the microwave - a bit random and wasn't on my list but I had an impulse so went with it *Went into scary toy/junk room and pulled out heaps of toys to donate for 40 day challenge and some junk to get rid of for 2017 items. Will drop them off later today
Have to say that I enjoyed getting into the scary room but have to pace myself because my temptation is to just get on with one task and let everything else fall apart and I am trying to keep all the balls in the air at the moment.
Still need to finish a couple of things here then go out and deliver things to the various places they need to go to.

Hello everyone. I had a day off the household maintenance yesterday, and now I have to work really hard to catch up. It does feel a bit like a treadmill or production line, where just one little glitch or delay then causes a major backlog.
Diane - I am envying those snow flurries.... but I hope you were warm enough.
Done * dishes * recycles * pet care - water, scoop, sweep * one load of laundry completed and hung to dry
For 40 day Challenge 22 bits of old paper from pre-2006 out and into recycling or shredding - it is a bit daunting to be excavating through the layers and I am worried about what might turn up, but nothing of great emotional significance so far. I am strong - I can do this.
