well i've spent all day reading and posting, which was NOT on my list. and i spent an hour combing knots out of poor older cat's fur - maybe longer. he was so cooperative... i think he knew i was trying to help him feel better.
maybe i should make a dice game.
will use one 1. kitchen 2. bedroom 3. entry hall 4. living room 5. PEEP/PUPA 6. roller's choice!
i got a 1 - kitchen! haha i did kitchen work, hand washed some handbags and purses, made decision on letting go two things, did some dishes, started a soup base (cut up lots of potatoes,) folded and put away the sheets that i had to dry draped over things, did some PUPA. i could spend the rest of the night in the kitchen. my expectations are lowering by the minute. looking for quick visual fixes...
rolled again, got a 1 again. the dice must know! ha. had to go to store to complete my soup. then my good neighbor brought me dinner! it was delicious. now i have no incentive to make the soup
still so much to do...
hey, babz25; i just read your post back there. i'm sorry you hit a dark place, and know how that is... good work posting and making the actions to dig out of that hole...continued wishes that you are feeling better and better with each day. WTG on moving ahead anyway - Atta girl! you are DOING it!

i'm not doing so good! the cat acupressurist comes in less than 2 hrs! what i did: another hr on the cat's coat - got out several large knots. made a soup which i think i need to toss after all that cooking (oysters were bad i think) made another late dinner that i could eat dishes - some picked up stuff off kitchen floor

A short list to work on for a couple hours. Rolling one die. Game board method. Shooting for 5 minutes at a time, but I do find it hard to stop after 5 minutes, so that may not happen.

Exercise/stretching of some sort
Here goes 1st roll: Kitchen Put away hand-washed stuff from drainboard - there were only a few items. Started putting away stuff from dishwasher... arm was hurting so stopped to get a couple Advil, spilled water on kitchen floor, towel that I used was to be washed & sitting near washer on the floor - but thought I could use it just to soak up the water. Instead, made a bigger mess of dog hair from the towel... now all over kitchen floor where I spilled the water. Gathered a few paper towels... soaked up the rest of the water & swiped up the dog hair. Whew! I'm done with that roll!!!
2nd roll: "1" which brings me to Dining Room. 19 papers shredded
3rd roll: "3" which brings me to Exercising/stretching of some sort. Wow! I haven't done any of my back exercises in so very long! It's been about 4 months... maybe longer. I only did one of them, and it is very gentle but it got my heart rate up & I am exhausted from just that one little exercise... actually even more of a stretch. Well, I'm glad I did it!
4th roll: "2" which brings me to Den 1 paper into recycle bag Hung recycle calendar inside one of my kitchen cabinets. Looked on-line to see if we are "orange or purple week". Wrote that on the calendar.
Fed dogs - 3rd feeding
5th roll: "5" which brings me to Exercising/stretching, again. I'm still really tired from that last roll... but I really l need to start back to exercising & this is another easy one... I hope. Hmmm. I'm in such bad shape... I'm not sure whether I should try another one right now.... I'm really feeling unwell & shaky. I used to push it when exercising when I was younger, but really I haven't been doing hardly anything for about 4 months .... really longer as I had only just started back 4 months, agao. . Eating, sleeping, working at very sedentary job, watching TV, driving in car... that's about it. I've been living a terrible lifestyle. Yes, I'm taking this one off of the list. It is better if I try again another time.... I just don't feel right & wish that I knew if it is okay to push it....
I'll skip it & move to Laundry.
I'm finished with the 5 minute thang. So, now I will switch to doing at least 1 thing or spend at least 5 minutes on one of the items on my list.
So, for Laundry, here's what I did: Folded/hung load of laundry Put away that load. Put another load in washer.
Next roll: "5" which brings me to Grocery List Before starting on Grocery List -- decided to make room on one of my kitchen counters for some food that DH brought home that he stuck right in the way of the kleenex & my medicines. Very hard for me to get to them. So, Tossed 2 pkgings, 1 packaged cracker & a piece of cardboard from the kitchen counter. Moved the food items he bought to the sink counter instead of the Breakfast Bar.
Now... work on grocery list... Made list for special dinner Sat night. Made Sam's Club list Made grocery list for upcoming week.
After the grocery list round.. I went ahead & just did a couple things that I needed to do... like more laundry & more in the kitchen. Laundry - Moved load to dryer & hung the hang-dry things Folded/hung load of laundry Put away that load Put another load in washer Moved that load to dryer & hung the hang-dry things
Kitchen - Unloaded dishwasher, Washed 3 sinkfuls of dishes, pots, pans., washed off 2 sink counters, washed off top of stove. Put 9 bottles/cans/jars into recycle bag

Oh ally, I love the dice game. Thanks for resurrecting it, I hope people use it--I wish I could play now but I'm starting a rest/lunch period. I love this thread, especially to get things done that I usually put off--somehow if the dice tell me I have to do it, I'm more likely to!
