I made a scrambled egg, cooked some broccoli & brussel sprouts. Also, made Matza Dressing. I will be making a piece of Matza Toast in a few minutes.
Washed 2 sinkfuls of dishes.
Good night! CD

kind of almost screaming that I should get my loved ones outta there!
Wow cando, that had to be upsetting! Is she telling the truth or is she a disgruntled employee? The other question is--if there are bad things happening there, are there worse things happening at other facilities--so you're better off staying there? I think every one of that type of facility is under stress, especially now.
I'm hoping to move at the beginning of May, I should be able to find out a date today or tomorrow.

seahorse cando phoenixcat desposito, I enjoyed working with you all on (my) Saturday. I got so much done. I didn't login here on Sunday, but I cooked and did some spiritual things with my tablet. I didn't end the weekend with the kitchen clean, but it was cleaner than when the weekend started. I just piddle at the house during the week. I'm still going to the office 9-6 M-F. Tonight I'm going to try to use the dishwasher to wash the fridge shelves & bins. Then, Tues am (tomorrow), I'm going to try to get up early enough to go to Walmart during senior hour 6a-7a. *shudder* makes this night owl cringe. Oh, well, I'll try, it's cleanest then.

I’m not working today & tomorrow so will be on this thread. Have to do some “have tos” in order for the first half of the day, but then will get to either rolling dice or number generator with pretty much the same list that I’ve been using.
Here’s my list of “have tos”:
1) 1st for me is to work on copying my grocery list off the website I had it on. 2) Then a couple more days need to have meals planned 3) add to grocery list, if needed. 4) dress2shoes & eat breakfast 5) pick up RX for Dad 6) take Dads RX to ALF 7) grocery shopping- hopefully only 1 store 8) pick up mail from Box 9) put groceries away 10) eat late lunch 11) cook 12) exercise 13) shower
14) check to see status of LTC invoice 15) pay 2 of parents bills THEN, I can play dice game!!! Looking forward to that & not really wanting to do my “have tos”—ugh.
I plan to check in pretty often to let ya know how I’m doing on this list.

Whew! I'm glad that I made that list. Was side-tracking, badly! Getting started, now. (Well, I've had coffee, Dressed, but haven't done my hair or teeth, yet. Had my meds & 2 glasses of water).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Whelp! That took a long time but I got a pick up order placed at a grocery store. I guess once you're set up it's faster, but took a long time shopping. But, at least it was safe! I wanted to go ahead & get my order in so we can pick it up this evening. They didn't have 3 of the items that I need/wanted to get so will still make a stop, but at least most of the shopping is done. I still haven't gotten the last 2 days of menu planning done. Next: Brush teeth, hair & put shoes on. Then, make the menu plans for Sunday & Monday. And, check status of parent's LTC invoice. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Menus planned! CD
Hi Cando. Doesn’t grocery shopping seem like so much more of an event than it used to. It’s like my best entertainment
Hey, @munchkin Nope, I don't like grocery shopping on-line. And, no -- not good entertainment. I don't know if you meant that or if you were being facetious. I'm assuming facetious... How're are things going for you? I did another thing on my list: checked Mom's LTC invoice. Also, made phone call to DrBro to discuss parent's taxes & invoice situation with LTC. Next: Brush teeth & hair, and put on tad of make-up CD
No, I ha e never really shopped on line,but getting to go to the grocery store seems like such a big deal to me now.. I go and walk in empty parking lots, and I put gas in my car every other week and go to post office once in a while, so a grocery store is exciting for me
Okay, finally look a little more human -- brushed teeth & hair, perfume, eye liner & lipstick. Looked over the 2 bills that I need to pay for parents... found that I am not as big of a rush on these... so will just leave those on my other list, but no need to do right now.
Next: pick up Dad's RX, go to Grocery store & maybe Walmart for pads for parent's bed. Drop off RX at ALF.
See ya in about an hour or so. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Picked up Dad's RX & dropped it off at ALF. Decided not to go to the grocery store for the few items that I couldn't order & not to go to Walmart. Saw my Mom from the window sitting at the dinner table. She started to get up & come over to the door, but I motioned for her to stop & she did. I couldn't believe that she did, but that was the case. I blew her lots of kissed & she blew one to me. I believe she kind of had an understanding when she saw me pull up my mask just before the Med Tech opened the door to take the RX from me. I hope the Vet Tech explained to her that I couldn't come in & had to go, but was just dropping off something.
Next: Cook ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DH & I kind of cooked together. Baked Chicken & put together a small salad. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Picked up the Grocery Order from Krogers. They are not charging a fee right now. I am very happy that I did this & will do it, again. They upgraded a couple things because they were out of the exact item & there were 2 things they were out of & couldn't substitute. I don't mind, though. I will definitely do this, again, & I'm sure it will be easier since list is already on there, now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Next eat a late dinner... did not get to all of my "have tos', but tomorrow is another day. (Very upset as I realize that I made a huge mistake at work. Could be that I will lose my job over it. Oh well, i cannot go back in time & change it. All I can do is hope for the best). CD
Good morning! Going to utilize this thread for a bit today to see if I can create some movement on areas of my house and other projects that I'm not getting to. I did a few small tidy sessions last evening, so the main rooms of my house are "tidy enough", except for the kitchen which is quite messy. I'm going to spend 10 minutes on: 1 - office 2 - back room 3 - make banana bread 4 - taxes 5 - work project O 6 - kitchen Ugh - the first "roll" was a 3 - I don't wanna make banana bread! Ok, the first step is to check the bananas - if they are moldy, then I can scrap that project. I just looked up the recipe that I want to try and so I will go downstairs, set my timer for 10 minutes, check the bananas and then take some first turtle steps to get started! ************ Ok, I spent 10 minutes on the banana bread project - found 2 bread pans and washed them (haven't used them in probably 15 years!) - not sure which one I will use. Got out most of the ingredients and mashed the bananas. It's a start! Bonus - I put away all the dry dishes in the dish drainer to make room for drying the washed bread pans. Next roll is....5, so I will spend 10 minutes on my work project to move that along a bit. ********** Worked for 10 minutes on work project O and moved it a teeny bit along. Next time need to find notebook with notes in order to do more - should be on my work table. Next roll is...1 - office. Argh - this is one of my rooms of doom and I'm not even sure where to start. But, I will go in there and at least assess the situation and see what I can do. ************ Well, that was awful, but I found something to do and found a few things to throw away. 10 minutes of effort is better than none! Next roll...another 5, so 10 minutes on work project. I found the notebook I need on my desk on the way from my office to laptop, so I can dive right in... ************** Ok, 10 more minutes of work project is finished. I'd like to get this one section done today. Next roll...oh no, it's a 1 - don't make me go back into the office. ******** Ugh - once again, working in the office was awful!! But I found a few things to recycle and getting a better idea of what is in there. I feel so hopeless! Next roll...5 again, ok - work project it is! ******** Moving along on the work project - tedious, but getting it done. Next roll...5 again, guess I'll just stay here and keep going! *************** Another 10+ minutes on work project...so tedious, but getting there. Going to take a break to make and eat some lunch and then decide what my afternoon will look like.
seahorse I have two big annoying places - getting very frustrated with them both. But then again - the whole house needs a bit of "love" as well. So - going to mix in the two hot spots with 10 minute spurts in other rooms. 1, 3, 5 - work on master bathroom/master closet 2 - kitchen 4 - spare rooms 6 - spare bathrooms 7, 9, 11 - work on office 8 - master bedroom 10 - family room 12 - garage (tearing down recycling) Starting with the garage for 10 minutes and then working on the office. Feeling your pain seahorse !.
