A little list I forgot to post yesterday: Found the drop-box for Amazon and returned package. Prepped bill for payment. Gathered planners and calendars for trip to work for people who need them. Got EVERYTHING out of one sink.

Gathered planners and calendars for trip to work for people who need them. That's great. One of the things my children's school system enforced, beginning in middle school, was the daily use of school-provided planners. My adult children still use planners. I have no idea how I managed to keep track of things when I was in school, but I am exactly the kind of kid who would have benefited.

Lots of professions suggest using apps and online planners, but there are cognitive benefits to using a paper planner - if the kids don't lose them.

TODAY: Dishes and laundry put away. Half a bag of trash removed, mostly instruction manuals and expired warranties. Shredded September receipts that were under a stack of books. Also put books away. Picked up pieces of a game that had fallen off a shelf and rolled beneath furniture in the office.
