Folded and PUT AWAY (big deal!) 10 pieces of dry hanging laundry
NEXT: Go downstairs - fill water glass and find fly swatter
Bring up bag of wet laundry
Oops - forgot to post - but...
Filled water glass, looked high and for good fly swatter, could only find not-so-good swatter
Brought up two bags wet laundry
Swatted two annoying flies buzzing around bedroom

indeed it has, dear seapony! grateful for this thread. and your consistent commitment to things like walking and yoga and nice meals is a big motivator for me! 
I really struggled with setting goals today, so I just went back to the very basis and decided the best thing I could do was take a walk.
called LR and she wasn't available, so I called DM. got that off my list. she predictable took up 100% of the airspace, and was ready to hang up, but I pointed that out and asked for my turn. we were able to joke about it, and I told her my sad tale of woe having to unexpectedly come up to the house when they tore up the floor to find the water damage. She needs my help on something that I was set up to help her on last week. I need to be bossier, so to speak, because her executive function is about as good as mine is. I need to be a leader.
But I digress! what is the next step? discuss dinner. and then make it. not my favorite!

okay, its "fish and squish," which DXH will mostly make. I got the salmon and put it in the sink to defrost. XSO is making cake!
Also discussed Thanksgiving plans with DXH. He is going out of town, which means I can come up here and work! yay!

mylittlescholar - what is the "squish"?! We were living parallel lives today - I called my DM to catch up and also had to ask her to make some room for me to speak - about three times!! She gets nervous and rambles non-stop. Great job taking a walk - that sometimes is really the best choice to make. DONE - matched, folded and PUT AWAY all 15 pairs of dry socks TO DO 10 minutes work project CFPM - even though I really don't wanna!!!!!!

Have been focusing on a work project that I need to move along as quickly as possible! Also had some ice cream - my third helping this evening.  NEXT: Clear off bed and put on clean flannel bottom sheet Problem - my 30-year old comforter is leaking feathers everywhere since I took the duvet cover off earlier to wash it. I wish I had something else to use so that I don't get feathers all of the clean duvet cover! |

Bottom sheet is on the bed! Top sheet is on the bed, but not yet tucked in because kitty had to get involved - she loves playing in the sheets when I change the bed.  Leaking comforter is on the floor - haven't decided how to deal yet. Don't see an obvious hole (there's an old hole that I covered with duct tape at one point - oh my). NEXT: Finish work email that I should send tonight. |
