I forgot - I did have to buy sunglasses at Monday's fair as I misplaced my go to pair. It is nice to have a backup pair. I did not mind buying them as admission to the fair was free.
As far as the give aways - DH kept "yelling" at me that we did not need the grocery bags. But we seem to go through a lot of them. And I dont feel so bad about packing them full of donate when they were free..... And I am making a conscious effort to drink more water. I am leaving a bottle at work.
I am thinking about signing up for a boxing class. An exercise boxing class not really a learn to box class. I spend every night visiting my parents - I think I need to cut back on that so that I can walk or take an exercise class or get more things done.
OK - I paid one bill this morning. Now to try to remember my password and pay my utility bill.....

shellsncheese Sorry to hear that you have to spend to get a new dishwasher. That sucks... ohblondie Those fairs sound so much fun! I'd love to take that Boxing Class with you... And, yes... I understand about cutting down on daily/nightly parent's visits. I've learned that, too. Dressed2shoes in workout clohtes Drank 16 oz of water. Researched selling house thats in Irrevocable Trust Re-read Irrevocable Trust Sent text to DSil -- need her to send accountant's consultiing bill to me Sent text inquiring about deposit DrBro/DSil were supposed to have made Did back exercises including crunches & planks. Also did push-ups, dips and squats. Stretched afterwards. I'm already seeing improvement on these exercises! That is encouraging because the day before yesterday... it took much longer & I could barely do the back exercises at all). (To track improvement I'm writing details... please ignore this part of my post -- 40 crunches, 10 reg pushups done imperfectly, 10 bent knee pushups done imperfectly, 30 wall pushups, 9 10 sec planks, 1 20 sec plank, 2 sets of 10 diips, 2 sets of 15 squats). Checked on parents in cameras. Haven't been visitng because my boss exposed me to his illness... Even if it's just a terrible cold or flu, I don't want to expose 2 elderly communities. Haven't visited my 6 week old Grandson over he weekend due to this situation, too. DH sent text to the ALF asking for help re-plugging cameras in as the cameras are not working properly. (My Mom had a little problem last night & we had to call them in the middle of the night). cd

I am as slow as molasses today! Very hard to do work Had one meeting Attended one webinar Caught up w some colleagues Answering emails
I went home at lunch to see the pup. We went out back and played fetch for almost an hour. Good for pup but I was taking an extra long lunch and that is not something that I can do very often.
Back at work. Sorted through a big stack of papers I am thinking this is a sort of “fresh start” at work so I’d like to recommit to being organized and timely ( more honest maybe to say to “commit to”!). For example, there is one annual document that I keep that should be updated almost weekly. It is time to start the new one and I want to keep it up to date —this past year, I stopped updating in February so I really had to scramble in August to finish it -I created my own rush!! It could have been relatively painless. It is always a pain to fill out, pesky details, but not really hard when done in a timely fashion.
ETA: sent scary text asking for help w something. No response. Not a good sign.

well the pickup never came. I waited for M to come back from her appt and then we called in but no new info. I suspect they will be there tomorrow morning, but M will be able to handle it. It was nice to catch up.
I might have found my RV--DNILs are selling theirs and it is my dream model. Gonna call and chat after I eat something. I need to figure out what research I need to do. I think I mostly want to get a sense of operating expenses.

Hello scholar!
I just took the dog for a walk, her afternoon yard visit is still an hour away but there might be rain coming, and I wanted to give her a chance to go before it starts thundering. From looking at the radar I think there's a good chance it will miss us again, but just in case, we went out and took care of business!
Next:
Move laundry to dryer Put last load of dry laundry away
Deal with mail, I've been getting so much of it lately 10 minutes on paper project

Well I misread the time for my event tonight (it was listed in a different time zone than I live in) so I am able to get home before it. Going to make a quick dinner and take out a bag of trash, before the event.
I still have my computer to dos from this AM to accomplish.
Seems like everyone has had a busy day. Good work!

I had a long talk with my shopping friend, she moved into the independent living apartment yesterday. She sounds exhausted from the last minute preparations, but is happy so far with the place--it really sounds wonderful. They're making her quarantine in her room for something like 10 or 14 days--which will feel restrictive since she just moved in there, but it means they are being very careful to protect the residents--she knows it's a sign that they're taking precautions seriously.
We ended up getting light drizzle for about 15 minutes--not even enough to cover the bottom of the seed tray. This is terrible, it's been a long time since we had a decent rain--everyone's lawn is brown. At least there was no thunder to upset the dog.
I'm eating dinner now and am probably done for the day. Good night everyone, see you in the morning!

Happy Wednesday Morning!!
Well I had another "Come to Jesus" moment this am. While living with my parents I lost weight. I had gone down a size. I wasn't eating correctly and stress. Well that weight has slowly crept back on and boy my pants were tight this am! So it us back to eating correctly and walking over lunch.
I talked to my friend and her sale is THIS WEEKEND!! So I have today and tomorrow to gather some stuff to donate. I think I can come up with a box of stuff.
I paid my utility bill and the one remaining bill. I think I better check my math and make sure there is enough to cover them- utility bill was higher than I thought.
OK back to work....

Good morning womble, cando and ohblondie!
Womble, I hope your husband feels better, and doesn't disrupt your plans too much.
This morning I took the dog for a walk to the library to throw the overdue DVD in the return slot, I hope it counts as yesterday's date, but if they're early birds and take the returned books out before they open it might be overdue.
That's okay, I was actually thinking of asking if I could make a small donation to the library, for the plant prop program. They listed another 3 monthly events to come and get a plant cutting to grow, and I signed up for 2 of them. This time they didn't have the instruction to only sign up for just one, so I signed up for 2, if they remove me from one that's okay. It's time to take another photo of my library plants and send it in to the person who coordinates the give-aways. My monstera, which I was worried about several months ago, did really well after I moved it to a plastic pot, it's growing like mad. I also have a pothos cutting that's growing, and the African violet leaf finally did grow a few tiny leaves at the base, so I could have a photo of three plants. I have a Christmas cactus cutting from them too, which isn't doing too well, I think I need to repot that in plastic too, they don't seem to like the terra cotta. And there was one, or maybe two, cuttings from the library that did not take for me. But 4 out of 5 or 6 is pretty good, considering that plant propagation was always a challenge for me. I'm getting much better at it, but still have more failures than successes with my succulents.
It got nice and cool overnight, and today will be no higher than 80. Today I have to email the handyman to see if he's coming tomorrow, and then I should call for an optometrist appointment, and for the furnace guy to come change the flue pipe. I'll see how today goes.
I'm eating breakfast and then will start working.
