Good morning!
It's grey and cloudy out, we might actually get a little rain today, I really hope so. The high will be low 80s but right now it's cooler so I have my door and windows open.
I was much more productive yesterday than I have been, so I hope that trend continues. Tomorrow I have my stressful doctor's appointment, so I need to keep myself distracted today with productive activities!
I'm finishing up breakfast now.

Good luck with the doc today Diane. ▪️Started the day with a swim (let out a bit of anger with boxing the water.) ▪️ACTUALLY DROPPED OFF A COUPLE OF BOXES AT THE CHARITY SHOP 😁 ▪️Swung past Morrison on the way home and found a frozen cheats meal to serve up for when family finally visit. ▪️More of the perpetual washing up ▪️Lunch from some of the yummies I bought today. ▪️Mini task of the plaster box ➡️ Next rinse out cossie, , continue listening to E-learning. ➡️ Some mini jobs and hopefully nip to allotment to pick fruit FOR ONE MAD MOMENT I WONDERED ABOUT JUST FLINGING EVERYTHING IN THE ATTIC/SPARE ROOM AND GETTING THE VISIT OVER WITH THS WEEK, BUT TBH THE PLACE WON'T BE SAFE LET ALONE CLEAN FOR PARENTS TO COME BY THURSDAY... I've another 4 day slot booked off to attack the house, Fingers crossed I can get closer to at least having a house safe to visit

I miss everyone!
DH is keeping up minimums as DN has had Covid. I am still working on my mindset so I am ready to move forward when I am physically able. Poor health makes so many physical things not important anymore!

Hello decade, good work on getting the donations out, I love to hear that, I picture empty space in my mind whenever someone makes a trip to drop off boxes!

I need to re-start my journaling this week. I have so much to do I feel like a dog with a yard full of squirrels. Not getting anything done but all in a state of omg, running around in circles, and barking. I need to prioritize a few things and try to focus Me Currently:

Good morning TML! You are off today and tomorrow? I love that smiley--if you keep up at that speed but work instead of running in circles, you'll get a lot done!
Next:

Hi everyone! DD and I are back in town. She is off at school and I so wisely took the day off as I need some rest time from that whirlwind. We left Sat morning and I did some more vaccuuming and cleaning before we left! I had the house nice for the people who'd be there related to pet care. So glad I did all that work. The trip to this Major Big City was uneventful but we ended up eating really awful food - the nature of travel on a high way I guess- we stopped for lunch off a highway with no official rest stops, went into a small town and the choices were awful and so we made the best of it. We had a fun night in Big City, and then on Sunday we had a planned event so that was great and the food was much better. I tell this because as I drove home, I was eating gas station junk food for cheap and quick energy as I was so tired on the drive. We were almost home and I wanted to stop at the next rest stop as I felt awful -- sign up on the highway "Rest stop closed. no restrooms next stop 40 miles" UGH. So I drove on and after a bit, suddenly pulled over and told DD I am going to be sick! dangerous to stop on the highway but I was next to the car, puking out the awful food on the side of the road while poor DD sat there, horrified. . It is funny now. She took over driving and we were not too far from that 40 mile away rest stop, so I had a chance to recover. She drove us home safely! TMI I guess but somehow it is making me laugh today. I have a school event for DD tonight and need to go get some supplies. I had great plans to work on house stuff today but I am just taking a break. I took puppy for a walk, and ahead of us on the road home was a mom, pushing a stroller with a puppy even naughtier than mine, pulling and laying down and rolling around, etc. I waited and took a meandering walk, thinking I did not want to get these two rambunctious pups near each other. i was getting annoyed like thinking move it, I gotta get home, then I thought do I ? Just relax. So I did. And I will!

thanks Diane, it was really awful but somehow today I see some humor in it. One thing though I started to feel so sick and even faint, and I quickly pulled over because if I did not, I could have killed us as I started to feel faint. So my words of wisdom - better to pull over than try and tough it out and possibly pass out and end up crashing....
I just made two phone calls that I have been dreading. I am the Queen of Procrastination. I want to stop! I dreaded these calls, so I did not make them, as a result the dread was there for days and even weeks -- and the longer I go the less likely a good outcome. Makes no sense. I am really going to try and focus on procrastination and stop stop stop

Bree, I am a procrastinator also when it comes to phone calls or other things I don't want to do--not doing them doesn't take away the need to do them, it just prolongs the anxiety. But I do the same thing, look for excuses to put them off! Maybe we need to resurrect the Procrastination Items goal!
Next:
Retrieve dry laundry, move second load to washer, start third load Clean dog's ears and medicate Sterilize dish sponge, wipe out microwave Wash some dishes
