Transferred family's emailed wish lists and what others have "claimed" to my Xmas paper pad. Redundant, but it'll work better for me. Made bed and had meds. Planned meals and made grocery list. Go to grocery store. Get dressed. Do stretches. Go for a walk before the weather turns.

Hello All!
I felt great earlier today, but seems that now I am exhausted!
ta-da's: Webex work meeting Breakfast, dressed and out the door to appointment for Lyme vaccine trial. With the commute and the visit time, this is a 4-5 hour ordeal. Bought gas and a few groceries. A year or two ago I bought some of the stuff required to make vanilla extract. Today I bought the one remaining ingredient, and then actually started the process. (Chopped up the beans and put them in a bottle with vodka) Fed chickens and cat.
to-do: I need to do some food prep for my meals at work. I have some black beans soaking, and I'll cook them and some brown rice, veggies etc. Also start a variation of overnight oatmeal that I have been having for breakfast at work. Tidy up kitchen and/or bathroom

I pushed through, even though exhausted, and did quite a bit of food prep. Just decided to take my temp. It was 97F at my appointment this morning, I am at >100 now. So am I having a reaction to the Lyme vaccine? (did I get the real one?) or did I pick up something else somewhere along the way?
Anyway, I've decided to take a break, then put the food away that's in the pressure cooker once it cools. Later: I'll check on the chickens and take a shower, log my symptoms and go to bed.

Hi, Ally . I appreciate your doing the vaccine trials. It kinda does sound like you got the real thing this time. Feel better soon. I discovered some soup in the freezer. I made it a couple of months ago and it was delicious, but I got tired of eating it. Lunch was yummy. Hurray for bulk cooking. Got dressed. Went to grocery store. Put refrigerated items away. Go for a walk before the weather turns. Put the cooking and meals on the calendar. Did stretches.

Good evening, guys and dolls! Good morning, grasshopper Ally I hope you feel better soon. goldenthreads Good work on using the freezer bounty. TA-DAH 1. I rescheduled my medical appointment (the CT machine "went down" - not sure why) 2. Picked up mysterious collection of broken twigs that were in driveway and put them in the firepit 3. Put away dry clothes; moved rack to powder room 4. Washed dinner dishes 5. Emptied small wastebasket into outdoor bin 6. Refilled small shampoo bottles from big ones; tossed a bottle of the kind that leaves my hair oily 7. Mopped the floor where the tree is going 8. Tossed some paper 9. Cleaned shelves and side table 10. Vacuumed the bathroom floor 11. Emptied vacuum into wastebasket 12. Took apart vacuum; put washable filters in sink to soak a bit I found a beautiful autumnal runner as I was pulling out the holiday linens. I had convinced myself that I decided not to buy it during last year's "white sales"! I will be putting it out post-Christmas, just because it's pretty. TO DO 1. Clean filters and put out to dry 2. Empty wastebasket into outdoor bin 3. Take a shower and dress in warmer clothes
