Good morning everypony! wow, y'all are inspiring! 
hard frost today. glad I put the jade plants under the patio roof. I am underslept, but I want to go shopping early before the crowds get even bigger. I am invited to a BBQ and holiday light viewing starting at 3:00 pm. Hope to get a nap in. I made a new Big Ol' Gnarly To Do List last night, so need to check it as well.
DONE: am med made coffee daily meds--forgot yesterday updated log
made bed checked online balance checked calendar checked email deleted a couple of photos uploaded list to photobucket and posted on blog

Hi Everyone!
I have been working on mail and stuff. I picked it up from mail box on the way out to get breakfast and then when I got back the yard clean up people were here so I had to go set somewhere in car and wait (so I did mail while I waited). I went down to the marina and looked at mail.
Now I need to go on an errand run. Yay errands. (Sarcasm - I am more like pffffft errands).

Good heavens! And it's still a week until Christmas!
I had my long phone call, my shopping friend sounds really depressed right now so I'm glad I'm talking to her, she always sounds a little better by the end of the call. After that I took the dog out again and then wrote out some Christmas cards and some military letters.
Now I'm going to have dinner and watch a Christmas movie!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend! Today has been a really nice relaxing day of recharging and I feel much better for it  Done: Moved things around to get my large suitcase out of our storage area, and then rearranged things at the entrance more neatly (mum is borrowing the suitcase from me for a few months, once I get it emptied and cleaned off) Collected laundry from around the house Cleared laundry off the air dryer and folded it Load of laundry Laundry from machine to dryer |

had dinner and then did a lights tour. loads of fun!
ALSO DONE: dropped off gifts etc at DPs started to take supplement flipped laundry changed into jammies

Good morning. I’m up extremely early as I can’t sleep. When I went to bed, I couldn’t sleep for the longest time. Yesterday, DH & I visited my Mom. She was having an exceptionally good day! We did a FaceTime call or was it Echo, not sure which one, but it was with my youngest DBro. Btw, he’s the only one who responded to my wish gift text for DMom. Oldest bro I know was working in ER all day. So didn’t expect to hear from him, but I was hoping his wife would respond. Oh well. I gave her the socks & let her feel the really warm ones. She gave a big smile & agreed they were soft. She was very responsive today & was able to respond to questions & blew youngest bro a kiss when he did & she touched my phone on his lips with her hand. We also brought our Dog to visit & she kept smiling & asked her name & called her & patted for Dog to come to her. I tried to give her treats ti give the dog but she didn’t seem to want to hold them or didn’t understand. (She has severe dementia. It’s amazing that she responds at all. ) She remains very happy even tho she can’t even stand at all. Hoyer lift used to put her in wheelchair & back to bed. Afterwards, I went grocery shopping. While I was there, I decided to get the 2nd Shingrix vaccine. Then, DH & I made delicious salads for lunch. Arms a little sore. DH put on the 1st movie “Enola Holmes”. That came out in 2020. It was really good! We will watch the 2nd one soon. 2022 movie. Afterwards, went to another grocery store to finish shopping for latka ingredients & Bought Hanukkah gift or two. Some dreidels & candles. Wrapping paper & gift bags. Real sleepy after that. So nothing else done other than dog care & fixing quick easy dinner of eggs scrambled with sautéed turkey sausage , bell pepper & onion. Got sick at stomach later. Didn’t throw up but was nauseous & had the other end. I took meds. Oh yeah, I was shivering to beat the band … for the longest time. Also very achey & couldn’t sleep hardly any. Kept trying. Moved to the couch in the den. (all this I believe are side effects of the 2nd Shingrex vaccine. ). Have a lovely day everyone. |

Happy Sunday Everyone!!! mylittlescholar The lines sound awful if you bailed. I did all my Christmas gifts online. I just have two gifts to finish. My niece’s pets and my chiropractor but I may not see him until after the holidays. I am thinking some sort of food gift for chiropractor. cando I am glad your mother was able to enjoy the visit. I remember Hoyer lifts (  ). Once when I was recovering from broken legs in car accident the nurse got me up in the hoyler lift and then it tipped over as she had not set it up right. Thank goodness it tipped over on to the bed rather than on the floor and then on top of me. Diane it was good to be able to cheer your friend up. What Christmas movie did you watch? reve Yay for your feeling better!!!! I have a lot to do today. I am not going anywhere just staying home and working on the house. Tomorrow I decided if my errands go well I will go to Baja for lunch. I have never been but my friends rave on their tacos. Right now I am going to take some Dayquil and then have some breakfast. Also see if I can figure out what the kitties did last night. I heard a huge crash but they are fine and dancing around. I opened door to look and they were outside door wanting petted. So i figured as long as they are fine i would just pet them then go back to bed and check in morning. |

Cando, that is so sweet that your mom got to visit with your dog--I wish all facilities let people bring animal visitors.
TML, you are brave to hear a cat crash and not go running out to see what happened--I'm so fearful of house things that I always imagined the worst (like what if they knocked something over that was plugged in and the pressure on the electrical wire causes a fire...or, what if they broke a glass and go back and walk on it and bleed to death while I'm sleeping...) Catastrophizing, I believe they call it in psychology circles. 
I slept a little later today because I couldn't fall asleep til after midnight. I took the dog out this morning and it felt so cold--when I came in I checked the weather site, the temp is 15 degrees and the feels like is zero--and this isn't even the "Siberian blast" that's supposed to come mid-week. However, the sun is out, which hasn't happened in a few days, hopefully it will stay out and warm up the upstairs.

I’m a sick puppy. Thru the night & so far this morning. I took a Covid test just in case, but I think it’s the Shingrix vaccine. Covid test was negative. We were going to have a small party at DS’s house. But grandson & son are sick, so it was cancelled. We’ll still run some pedialyte, food & gifts out there. It’s an hour drive each way. Oh, TML What a nightmare re: hoyer ! So lucky you were ok. Cd |
