Cando I am sorry to hear about sickness. Hopefully everyone is well soon!
Diane I can’t see what they did. So I guess it is mystery cat noise. I saw this meme once about non-pet people vs pet people. Loud noise in house - non-pet people - OMG it is thief, a mass murder escaped and is in my home, demons (non-pet owner cowering in fear under covers): Pet - owner - you better not have broken anything, cut it out, I swear if I have to get up (pet owner goes back to sleep).
I am doing my work/short break X3 then work/long break rinse and repeat pomodo today - it is 15/15 then 15/30. I am so happy right now i have my house full blinds/shades etc. I will open them later but right now I can work around my house in night gown. I wanted to get all my clothes in washer and the night gown will then once i am all dressed and ready for the day go in with the sheets when i do bedding.
Well heading back to break I have 4 minutes left.

Diane it was not a glass or pottery breaking noise. It sounded like they knocked a box over or pulled a shade off window. But everything looks fine so no idea.

TML, that's hilarious about pet-owner sounds in the house. I can really relate, now that I have two floors in this house I have occasionally heard some small sound on the other floor, and I immediately look around for the dog--if I don't see her I know she's on the other floor and everything's okay. If she's on the same floor with me I have to go investigate the sound to make sure it's old house creaking and not a murderer or else I can't relax.
And I can't imagine not having coverings on all my windows--I keep the blinds open all the way to the top of the windows upstairs all the time for my plants, but I sleep and dress and undress on the first floor where all windows get covered as soon as it is dusk.
I did some work on Christmas cards but now I have to stand up and move.
TO DO:
Take dog out and feed her Take out some garbage and recycling 10 minutes on first floor Sweep kitchen on first floor

Good morning everypony!
oh goodness cando! I hope you feel better soon. I didn't get my second Shingrex shot in time, so I might have to start over.
I took DPs on a yard decor tour last night. DVD directed us to at least six different places. It was humbling--all were bigger or more elaborate than ours. But I think we'd make the top ten! So poignant to be able to create a Christmas memory with DPs.
I ate cookies and candies galore though. surprised I am upright this morning. Cat hollered at me to get up for a long time. Now is in my lap.
DONE: early med
made coffee made bed checked online balances checked email checked calendar
last night I put the dolls in a circle on the DR table to prep for the tea party at 11:00 AM. Its kinda spooky!

Laundry is moving along. I folded my son's as the piles were falling all over and hard to discern work shirts from other shirts.
DH's work clothes are clean and ready. I have a load of his jeans to do.
I still need to fold mine. I am wearing black leggings most every day - that is BAD BAD BAD!!!
I found the missing checkbook - hip hip hooray!!
I made some returns for my mom. I forgot to go to the post office but I can do that tomorrow. SHe needs stamps for her christmas cards.
My friend is letting me have a small birthday dinner for my dad at her house. It has rqamps and is easy for my parents to get in and out. I am making mac and cheese and pulled barbecue chicken and green beans to eat. I also got cheery pie and carrot cake for dessert. I almost forgot the ice cream! the mac and cheese is assembled and in the over ready. Oven gets turned on in 1/2 hr. I will cook the chicken in the instant pot. I will start that when I turn the oven on.
ok. off to clean something

Diane, i just walked the trash outside and was going to go get the mail but was amazed how cold it felt. Alexa says its 37 degrees but it felt colder than that.
Glad i got the trash out
One load of hand wash dishes and one load in the machine
emptied the foods from the fridge and had to wipe as the chicken leaked through the bag
Smashed a cup on the floor, shame they are nice ones too
Couple things
our Costco bill was higher than expected, i let DH shop alone. He got the chicken thighs he wanted but his bad eyes didn't see they were organic! Oh my $60 for 2 packs of thighs.....they better be good
Oh i have been trying to decide if i needed a heated throw and a heated matteress pad for a few weeks now. I took the plunge and got both and so far am glad i did. Even with Northern Nights sheets the bed was not all that warm and DH is very happy i got them. We watched TV under a heated blanket last night.
Sorry to hear you are sick Cando.

Scholar, it's been so many years since I've been on a Christmas decor tour, they did used to be fun except for the yards that had so many bright lights that they hurt your eyes! I'm sure your yard is the best!

Oust, that heated throw sounds nice, knowing how low you're keeping your heat. I actually had one of those (and now that I think about it I don't know if I packed it to move here, I don't remember seeing it but that time was a blur so it's possible I still have it.) I never really needed it at the condo though, I didn't control my own heat and it was usually warm enough to not need something like that. I guess I could use it now if I didn't have the animals, just turn the heat down more and it would save money--but I can't turn it down way low, mainly because of the birds. The dog sleeps on the bed with me and when she seems cold I cover her with her own throw...but the birds would get too cold.
I had lunch and watched more of a Christmas movie. TML, I'm watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and I would tell you which one but unless you are a serious Hallmark aficionado all the movie titles sound the same! In fact, even if you are a serious fan they all sound the same. I have my favorites though, movies and actors, so I'm watching those on my DVR. For the last few years my cable company has made TCM a pay channel so I no longer get it--that's where I saw all the great Christmas movies from the 40s. I will have to buy DVDs of those if I want to see them now--I actually do already have a couple of them on DVD but the only place I can watch them is sitting at my computer.

mylittlescholar you should be okay with the Shingles shot. I have not gotten my second one yet either and I am outside the window they told me initially to come back. I had to get flu shot and new Covid shot and Pharmacist said - no worries we just give you the second deadline to come back so people will come back. Also that makes sense to me as the time is more so that you don’t go back earlier before the first shot has finished its immunity run but you would need second shot eventually to get full coverage. So I am waiting and getting mine in late in January for second shot. Diane, I have a few of the hallmark movies - i have them on streaming. I stopped getting TV ages ago. I mostly watch youtube and my old streaming movies. I do like national geographic and sometimes the Smithsonian. I keep breaking and working and breaking and working. I just finished talking to Mom and she gave me her usual pep talk when I said it feels like it is taking forever. She said that is because you break more than you work. (Thanks Mom!). Then she complained she has no life except for craft projects and watching TV. She would like to sew and etc again but that is not really possible in nursing home. I offered to bring her portable machine but they said they would have to have someone watch her and then everyone would want to have one. I told Mom at least you are not having to clean anything but can just sit around and watch TV you like. Then she said well you have to expect you would have to clean sometime so best to get to it. That toilet is not going to scrub itself.

- Emptied dishwasher
- Stacked and ran dishwasher (that's two days in a row and there's still a bunch more dishes to go!)
- PUPAed living room table (it got quickly messy again, but at least I cleared a bit)
- Load of laundry
- Laundry from machine to dryer
- Made candy cane fudge for rescheduled bake sale
- Wrapped six more presents (I have about six left to go, which is a good spot to be in with a week left)
- Set out clothes for tomorrow
- Got boyfriend to clean the shower
To do:
- Aiming to vacuum bedroom before bed

oust glad you like the heated pad; I got one for my folks for Christmas. They were very interested in the big box,  yes, Diane, the prettiest sight to see is the decor that will be
in my own front yard. ah, thanks for that info, TML!
Tea party was lots of fun! Then I took pictures of my dolls, since they were out and the lighting was good. I have flipped laundry and hung up tops to air dry done a tiny bit of clean up
scheduled child minding for 8:00 am (earliest) so I would like to do some more cleaning and childproofing tonight. all 12 glasses are dirty!

Well, it looks like this was a pretty productive day for you guys, mine was okay, not great, but not horrible. I'm still trying to figure out if I go shopping tomorrow or Tuesday--I'd like to go and get it over with tomorrow but I'm not sure I'm mentally prepared to go. I'll see how I feel in the morning.
