peaceseeker my humble advice is just take time to enjoy life and do what makes you happy!!! I have not posted here since Monday. I had a great productive lunch on Monday -- went to credit union, grocery store, post office and filled my gas tank. and bought some food work is so-so. many many chaos meetings. it is a meeting heavy week. chaos has caught me daydreaming on zooms and will say "bree what is your opinon," thankfully I am a quick thinker!! at lunch today I did some store returns. each night when I get home from work I take puppy for an hour long walk in the dark. she has been so wild I feel kind of physically battered. I think I have figured out what is happening - we are taking a walk right after a person wtih two off leash dogs and puppy is going wild as she can smell their wild scent. last night after the walk, I had two errands to run with and for DD. I have been keeping up with the dishes and litter. I have made slow progress on reclaiming my dining room table. I just took the trash and recycling to the curb. I am finding it very hard to get up for work this week. I have been staying in bed until the last possible minute. not good! DD is having a tough day due to some course registrations for next semester and some other school stuff and when she is sad, I am so sad too.

I'm sorry to be so late getting caught up, but I am smiling due to happiness from reading posts in this thread. Especially your post!!! I understand that you have clean up & recovery from what you've been thru. Many hugs to you, CD

So much getting done, here!!! Enjoy reading your posts. Here's my catch-up post... (copied parts from another thread) Jan 10th Tues Woke up early 5:45! Went to bed earlier last night.Woke up, not feeling well, again. 7:15am started feeling better. I cooled it down in the house even tho it wasn’t really hot. It was just me. My poor DH! He’d prolly been freezing. Now, I’m thinking it was hot flash. Man, I went thru those already… or so I thought. Hmmm.Since I was better, I did the following:Dressed2shoes in workout clothes, brushed teeth & hair, contacts in, ponytail.Did back exercises including crunches & planks. (30 crunches - 3 sets of 10, 1 25 second plank & 9 10 sec ones)Did push-ups (10 reg floor ones, imperfectly, 10 bent knee ones, imperfectly, 3 sets of 10 wall pushups)Did seated triceps dips ( 2 sets of 10)Did 10 squatsDid stretches.Ate a light breakfastTook morning medsTook blood pressure 137/72 pulse 72.At work, took 2 SudafedsWork went ok.Phone call from pharmacy re: RX for Mom is ready $300!!!After work:Called nurse re: this rx. Mom just ran out of Rigastamine (?spelling) patches yesterday. I didnt know they were still using them. I had supplied a lot of them. I had no idea that I had supplied a year’s worth & now they’re out! These are for memory. We used to use Good Rx sometimes. I called & asked DH about it. DH found Good RX coupon & texted to me. $137. Whew!I called pharmacy about it.Went to pharmacy & picked up patches.Took to group care home.Drank 6 glasses of water.Went to bed early, but woke up about 1 1/2 hours later. So very sweaty. Rolling down my face. Made part of head & neck itchy.
Jan 11th, Wed. Work was okay today, not as stressful. Just me by my lonely self there, today. Not sure if I got my water in today. Lost count. No exercise today.I keep laying great plans... but then...after work:Put laundry load in washerFolded laundry load that was already in the dryerPut away that loadMoved load to dryer, then hung that loadEmptied kitchen trash & replaced bagPut away hand-washed stuff from drainboardUnloaded dishwasherWashed dishes - weren't many.Washed off top of stove.Wiped out a skillet that was on the stove. This is the first week in a very long time that I've kept up with dishes. It's so nice not having the counters, sink & top of stove full of them.1 paper into recycle bagPlanned meals for 1/12th Thurs.& 1/13th Fri -- now, if I can just stick to the plans!

So last night I helped my parents. I got their clean clothes neatly hung and out away, I got Christmas decorations put away (or at least gathered up), one last gift wrapped, valentine's day wreath hung. Several small little things that added up for a big thing. I went to a PTO meeting. I ate the second half of my lunch sandwich for supper. I set out an outfit for work (ended up wearing something else) threw a load of jeans in the wash DH came home early from work - his hip was so sore. Not sure what is causing this.
And here I am, the start of another day. I have food to make a nice supper forgot my lunch
Tonight I will make supper I will toss the jeans in the dryer and run a load of darks (I actually have two loads backed up to do)
DH is giving very serious consideration to retiring in June. THis is the absolute last chance I have for me to clean up the house and have a party. So I must get going.
OK - I better get to work.

Good morning ohblondie!
It felt so chilly this morning when I took the dog out, it's so grey outside that it looks like dusk. The forecast is for possible light showers/snow showers but not until tonight through Friday morning. Yesterday got to 51 degrees and felt like spring.
My goal today is PEEPing through the entire house to see how uncluttered I can get it by tonight. It would be so nice to have all rooms looking uncluttered--it always seems like as I'm decluttering one room I'm cluttering up another one.

Hello! Started the day with a dentist appointment Had a work meeting Working at home so I took puppy to the park for a nice walk at lunch Dropped off a gift for my great nephew golden retriever with a note from puppy! His human mom has been visiting and she is flying home to her dog and her fiancé in about an hour. Now back at work moving some projects along
Heard some disappointing news. I had applied for a job and had an initial interview that I thought went well but I am not getting job. It would have been a big job and a real financial life changer. I think some ageism was involved. They said they’d Google me and I am heading towards retirement. They have candidates 20 years younger…sigh. This job also has two main skill sets. I am very strong on one and less so in the other. Depends what they are looking for ultimately. The loss of such a financial opportunity is kind of a sucker punch.

Hi, everyone! My husband went out of town yesterday. He will get home late tomorrow evening. I would love to surprise him with some cleaned spots when he walks through the door tomorrow. He never says anything about my messes, but he deserves a more organized home. We both do. Anyway … I am feeling inspired.
Going to play the timer game again. Will set a timer, do as much as I can before it goes off, and then update my list,
Done
Take morning meds Get dressed Hair, teeth, face Laundry into dryer Load into washer Hung up that load because it was all delicate Folded one load from yesterday and put it away Took some packages out of my car Cardboard box into recycling Ate lunch Worked my regular job 7-3 Ate dinner Deleted 50 hard emails Sent four very important emails that I was super nervous about
