Well, I think the saw will work for pruning the part of the tree that is growing between the fences, it won't be easy though. I might have to get a better blade than the one that came with the saw, though. I had no idea that mulberry trees grew so fast.

Quiet day! Finished up work work DD took the car to go to a party I put dishes away Set dishes to soak Cleaned stovetop Fed animal kingdom Brought back trash and recycling bins Not much! Watching videos
It has been raining steadily so I won’t take puppy for a walk tonight she had a nice long walk at lunch. She is napping!! Yahoo
I am still sort of in shock over the job news I had a sign it was not to be as there was no call back and I reached out to check. But to briefly think about that huge salary. It would be so so so helpful in my current situation. I feel depressed.

Bree, sorry about the job, I know the money would have been nice, but who knows--there might have been an even worse chaos there--or maybe several of them! They seem to be common in business these days. And you can keep your eyes open for something else you want to apply for. If only there was a way of getting honest feedback from other employees before someone took a new job so you could avoid nightmare bosses.
It's time for me to get ready for bed, good night everyone, see you in the morning.

Bree, I am so sorry about the job. It is understandable that you are disappointed. Perhaps this will put new wind in your sails for applying for other opportunities that inspire you. Again, I am really sorry.

A phone call this evening really unnerved me, and I am feeling very manic now. I used that energy to dive into cleaning after sitting in my chair for three hours mindlessly watching television and procrastinating. So, here is the update…

Four loads of laundry that were laying in my bedroom floor Started sorting through the laundry mountain that is on the other side of our bed. Decided to donate five items and put another five or so items away, Loaded the dishwasher and turned it on, we have so many dirty dishes, that there is at least another load left to do PUPA master bath Along the way, I found some more dirty laundry … sigh… not quite enough to make a load…yet. Put some stuff in the pantry - basically, I cleared the counter to the right of my sink Put away ten or so things from the dining room table, including dealing with the mail Talked to my sister on the phone, trying to determine her visiting details next weekend Cleared off husbands side table in living room ( took two seconds because he is neat) Partially cleared my side table. Made myself a glass of tea

Hi all x
Hope you can relax now Climbing Pyramids ready for tomorrow xx
I did womble. Thanks so much. And tonight I sprung into action for far longer than I normally can handle in the evening. There's so much to do in tomorrow and Saturday before the carpet cleaners arrive on Monday. So much stuff to move, clear out, organize. I worked on clearing out a bit of clutter in the office earlier today. Further work halted as I forgot I had a scheduled mammogram. Wish me well tomorrow. I need to get so much done. Good night everyone!

TwinkleToes sorry you got an unnerving call. So glad you are getting so much done! ohblondie Hope your DH’s hip is better soon! bree Sorry to hear about the job & that let down. Thurs 1/12/23 Work went ok. Dieted successfully Only maybe 24 oz water Shopped online for gift for DS’s bday Got gas Went to Dollar Tree during lunch & to a different one tonight. We used to get Gossner milk there & also hazelnut creamers. They don’t sell Gossner brand anymore & don’t know if they sell those hazelnut creamers we used to buy. Didn’t see them. Also, they had items that were $5 there. Used to be everything was a dollar or less. The store I went to during lunch was horrible. Smelled bad, empty shelves, boxes of stuff in aisles. Filthy too. The nighttime store was much nicer. Still can’t see myself going there anymore. Missed doing exercise, once again. I used to have so much inner strength in my past. What has happened to me?! Extra determination & grit in my past…. Today is a brand new day. Btw, we’ve gone from 80 degree weather the last couple days (like Summertime) to the 30s. Cd

Good morning cando! I think you have a lot of strength, considering what you've been dealing with the last few years. Plus still working full time. When you're helping sick relatives there's no such thing as a vacation from it, continuing to do it shows strength. The Dollar Tree near me closed several months ago with a sign on the door that said the building was not safe to enter! And there has been no word or change since, even though I tried to contact them through their website customer service email--they did not respond. But in the months prior, the store had declined badly--very messy, empty shelves and things strewn across the floor. Sad, it used to be a great store.
This morning when I took the dog out there was the tiniest bit of precipitation--I guess it was a mix of rain and snow, but so light it's not on the ground anywhere. The radar does not look like there will be anything significant, but it's cold, "feels like" temp is 18. Starting Sunday we go back to mid-40s for several days--so strange for January, usually our coldest month.
