Hugs
My mental health in combination with the neuropathy pain took me down. Just before the holiday I started to feel better with the 5th med trial. I wanted to check in and let everyone know I am ok after 6 months MIA.

Diane, I am so sorry about your old girl. I remember the embarrassment and guilty looks when the dogs would poop where they were not supposed to. It does help to reassure them that they are still good babies. They forget the accident so quickly and all is well again.
I hope the stress strain in your neck eases soon. Have you tried bean bag heating pads? They go in the microwave so no need to be tethered to an electrical cord. I like the ones from Maine Warmies. They have a special stitching process called baffle, I think. It keeps the pockets of corn filling from slipping down to one side. I use an extra-long neck wrap for my back. It wraps around my lower back and hips. It feels SO GOOD!!!! I use it almost every day. I have some products from a site called Warmies also. I bought those first because they were cute, mostly animals. But I found out their filling shifts too much so now I like the Maine Warmies better. They can go in the freezer too. Not cheap but well worth the price for the deep, warm to hot comfort. Also the weight is very soothing.
peaceseeker it's so good to see you posting! I hope the new meds continue to help! You were missed!!
I'm very sore and tired this evening. And it is still bitter cold outside. Not even 7:00 and I am ready for bed. DD1 is wearing double of all clothing to keep warm. We keep the heat at 68 but it is very spotty depending on the rooms we are in.
I got a decent amount of stuff done today, chipping away.....

Thanks danny and reve, I'm hoping that with a couple of days feeling more relaxed my neck will get better, I did do the towel massage thing before and that felt good but only while I was doing it. It would feel good to have a warm compress right now.
The dog didn't want to go out at 4, which is good, that means she'll be ready and willing to go out at 8 and will probably get done out there quickly. I ended up working on emails again because I could do them sitting down. I had dinner, then had a call from my decluttering client, and now it's time to get ready for bed.
Good night, see you tomorrow!

peaceseeker welcome back!!!! I have been thinking about you and hoping all was well. I hope this new med works out! Diane aw your poor pup - glad you comforted her. For your neck could you pop in a hot shower and do some stretching w the hot water pounding in your neck? danny15 I am on the couch under a blanket- my legs are still cold from my walk and I got home about 40 minutes ago. I walked puppy until my face became numb. I am mindful of her too as she would have bad judgment and play and leap until she turned into a little snowman! The payoff is she is sleeping right now. Let sleeping dogs lie is sooooo true! I need to do four things before bed: Load of laundry Pay DD tuition Dishes to clean sink Dining room table pick up I will once the blood in my legs stops feeling cold!

thanks for checking in!
I got my appt, got some more issues addressed (where is my sleep mask???) and more appointments made.
DVD's mom was having computer woes. so I asked to eat before we went over. we did that. I was able to resolve issues and load a cleaner and malware protection. We kept encouraging each other when the going got frustrating. Flipped the laundry and DVD and I made the bed.
I'm kinda wore out. I want to do some art homework tonight, though!

Good morning! I couldn't fall asleep until late last night, so slept a little longer this morning, but now I feel annoyed that it's so late and I'm just starting out. I think I was ready to fall asleep last night when I heard a dripping sound, which I thought was the slow drip from the tub which has been there for a while. No, now the sprayer is dripping--all of a sudden, and faster than the tub. The handyman won't be here until at least the end of this month, so I have to hope it doesn't get a lot worse. That woke me up completely and then I worried about plumbing as well as everything else for a couple of hours.
Today will be the warmest day of the next 3, with highs of 20 degrees, so I would like to clean the seed pool out. I was looking ahead to next week for a possible shopping trip, but the only day that doesn't say rain or snow is Monday, and that's kind of soon. I'm keeping things not related to the cold weather at baseline, but the house doesn't look that great, I have water bottles everywhere with water I'm saving for the plants. I also have to sweep upstairs because every time I go out to feed the birds I bring in seed hulls on my damp feet and they are all over the porch room floor.

We are expecting more snow tomorrow, so today will be a prep day.
Due to Martin Luther King Jr.'s holiday and snow the following day we were backed up with trash and recycling pick-up. DD1 and I will make 2 trips to the dump and recycling transfer station today.
There are 4 more boxes of books (bankers box size) to take to the library for donation. 3 bags of clothes to take to church donation. 1 small box of new personal hygiene products (overbought unfortunately) for church donation. 2 bankers boxes of canned and dry goods to take to food pantry.
DD1 found a very large bag of new towels from K-Mart before they closed around here. They were planned for our animals but we had plenty. I'm not going to wash them since they were never used. We will drop those off at the small animal shelter. Or ~ maybe since they are new with tags they should go to the homeless shelter for people.
Gas up the truck, go to the post office and a quick trip into the grocery store for a small amount of fresh veggies and bread.
That may be pushing our energy levels but those are the plans.

Danny, I can't tell you how much I love hearing lists of things you're donating. I picture them as I read, all stacked up and ready to go make someone else happy. You are really stepping up and getting things out. I know you say there's a lot more to do, but how else can you do it except one box at a time?

I agree w Diane danny15 - you are getting so much out! I am proud of last night self! After I warmed up on couch I accomplished some things: Did dishes to a shiny sink Cleaned litter Took out trash to curb Paid DD tuition Did some pick up Did load of laundry - washed and dried Did a last minute trip to target to get some OTC allergy stuff Going to target was surreal! It was so cold and snowy here and suddenly I was bathed in the bright light of Target. It was 15 minutes before closing when I checked out I think there was only one other customer in the entire store. Today the usual got ready for work, fed the tribe, packed my lunch, made my bed, drove in I have been fairly productive here but I have some unpleasant work to do again. A little warmer in the 20s- that will help when I take snow dog on her walk Once again wish I could take a nap!!

Bree, I'm glad you're a little bit warmer, we just hit 25 here, which feels balmy...but the next 2 days will are back to highs of 13 and tonight we might get a couple of inches of snow. Sunday things start warming up for at least a week.
I'm eating lunch now. I finished the first season of Broadchurch last night and don't want to jump into the next season yet, I'm looking through the Amazon Prime offerings to see if there's something similar for me to watch.
