Good morning ohblondie and TML! You are both getting an early start to the weekend.
Thanks for starting the thread, lennon!
This morning my neck is killing me again, I can barely turn it from side to side. I think it's because the freezing weather returned, plus my afternoon phone calls yesterday stressed me out--I do really need to put some heat on my neck to see if that helps.
I'm going to call my decluttering client now before it gets any later and then see what I can manage to do after.

The weekend already! This month is flying by!
ohblondie isn't it a wonderful surprise when an appliance decides it wants to work again?
The sun is shining brightly but there will be no snow melt here today ~ temps are in the twenties but feels like temps are single digits.
The door from our family room to the garage doesn't seal well. Cold air blows thru the edge part that opens and the room is terribly cold. The deadbolt doesn't work even when I push the door closed as tightly as possible. We always need to shove a very large heavy feed bucket filled with blankets against the door to keep it from blowing open. Doesn't matter that the garage doors are closed, the wind still blows right thru. Last night I taped the edges of the door with duck tape (same as duct tape I think but in pretty colors ). Actually I just googled it ~ duck tape is simply a name brand of duct tape. Any way the room feels a bit warmer this morning. I should have the handyman work on that.
Nothing done yet this morning (almost afternoon) just playing on computer. I guess I will have to get going with a list and a timer soon.

Good morning danny!
Yeah, I need to get moving too. I debated maybe taking some Tylenol but since it's stiff muscles as well as pain I don't know if that would do any good. I might need to find my heating pad and actually use it for the first time.
TO DO:
10 minutes on plants Wash some dishes Restock water in fridge Delete 10 hard emails

Good morning bree!
I'm glad your meeting went well, now you need to take some time today to relax!
The dog wanted to go out, she did fine out there--it's already 14 degrees outside which was supposed to be the high--since it's already there I'm hoping it will be warmer by this afternoon, the sun is struggling to come out.
Next:
10 minutes on plants
Balance checkbook and pay a bill Feed dog
Delete 10 hard emails

My 10 minutes work, 10 minutes off my feet is slowing down. The kind of ache that will quickly move into pain if I push. So I will try 7 minutes up, 7 down. Puttering in kitchen and breakfast room.

bree I hope your little bird shows up! Diane and danny15 I hope the aches and pains clear up. I am doing 10 min work and 10 min rest today. Though I think the rest part ends up being more the 10 min most of the time. I have my long johns on (top and bottom) under my clothes and I do feel warmer. I think I need to buy another set and I need to check the packages off the porch for my extra warm socks I bought. It is so cold here right now.

Danny, sometimes I have set my timer to only 5 minutes, if that's all I can face doing. Luckily I have lots of stuff that I can do while sitting down.
TML, I wear a thermal shirt every cold day, it makes a big difference. I keep telling myself, just one more day and night of this and tomorrow should be better. I decided to try taking some Tylenol to see if that helps me move more easily.
Time for lunch.

TML (I do love your name behind the TLM ~ transformingmylife !!) It is SO cold in our house! We layer and have warm throws everywhere we sit but these past few days have been brutal. I keep reminding myself that other people have it much worse depending on their location and of course those who have to work outside.
I took an extended laying down break with pain cream. Didn't even read, just closed my eyes and tried to imagine the ache melting away into warmth. That helps. Back to puttering.......
