Good morning everyone!
Thanks for starting the thread, lennon!
My sleep was better than the night before, still took a while to fall asleep, still woke up early and couldn't fall back, but this time I slept from about 12:30 to 5:15 with only one wake up, so that's an improvement.
As I was trying to fall asleep, I heard wind whipping around the house like I haven't heard in a long time. It did snow last night, from what's on the upper back porch there's at least an inch out there. I haven't looked out the front yet to see if I have to shovel the sidewalk--in the back yard the sidewalk is mostly clear so maybe it melted on the concrete. I put out extra seed this morning since this has to be a shock to the birds after having 40 and 50 degree temps for a while now. The current temp is 23, feels like 13 degrees. But tomorrow's high will be 56!
Today I hope to work on the living room plant table set up, as well as my password project.
I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend!

Thanks for getting the weekend started lennon ! Morning Lennon and Diane! So far I have started laundry, picked up dishes, made breakfast, washed dishes. I have also petted kitties all the time i was doing the other items and telling them how good they were. They like Caturday cleaning days. Next up I need to pick up groceries, work on fridge, and get slow cooker started. Then tackle the general house mess/disaster.

Good morning TML! The slow cooker is a good idea--can you make big pots of things and freeze them? Don't you often have trouble figuring out what to eat? I still have "make crockpot dish" on my February challenge list and it will probably be one of the things I have to move to next month.
So, I had planned to go to the library this morning, but when I looked outside in the front to see if I had to shovel the sidewalk, I could see snow on all the lawns and nothing but frosty ice on all the sidewalks. I was going to postpone the library trip, but it didn't work with the weather/schedule for the next few days, and I could see that the streets were clear and dry so I decided to go and walk in the street. It was fine, I did not fall. Although walking was a big effort, I felt weak, like I wasn't going to make it there and back. But I did, and I feel fine now, so I don't know what that was about.
Now I have to do some work.
TO DO:
Call decluttering client 10 minutes on password project Restock water in fridge Delete 10 hard emails

One of the key ingredients in my crock pot dinner was not available at the store (or course). I always seem to be missing one key item when I try to order recipe stuff at the store. The most aggravating was the weekend I was going to make chili dogs and a picnic sort of dinner. So i got all the picnic items, the hot dog buns (this was pre me being GF), the chili dog sauce and then they said they were out of the hot dogs i ordered. I was like you have no hot dogs…. No beef hot dogs at all? This was back when i was feeling really bad and not going in at all - barely able just to make it over to store to have them dump stuff in trunk. So my whole dinner was pfffffft.
Today I was making chicken with green beans and potatoes. The recipe is onion soup mix (i ordered the GF Milk free one) 1/2 mixed with 1 cup chicken broth and poured over the skinless boneless chicken breast. Then you put two cans of green beans (drained and rinsed) on top of one side of pot and quartered paper potatoes on other side then pour the rest of soup mix on them and mix them within themselves (ie dont mix the green beans and potatoes together) then on high for 4 hours. I had never made this before but it looked interesting and easy except - no onion soup mix. I may have ordered some ages ago so I am going to look in cabinet to see else I will have to improvise.
Right now i am washing bedding. The blanket is in the dryer and the fluffy bed topper is in the washer with the under pillow case cover.
I am also working on sorting and picking stuff up plus folding clothes. I also need to email contractor.

Next, I'm going to move the living room furniture around: Move small table into DR, move couch to another side, and then bring folding table from back porch to living room and unfold it.
I also have to move the ottoman that was at the side of the bed to the DR, it was there to help the dog get onto the bed. It's huge, it was the perfect size for the dog to lie on when my sister had it in the living room, but it's much larger than needed for me to put my feet on if I ever want to sit on the couch to relax. I could get something a quarter of the size if I decide I need an ottoman. I'll have to figure out if I want to keep it.

Good morning scholar!
The living room is set up, and the ottoman is in the dining room--it will be a whole project in itself to get the dog hair off of it! I would vacuum it occasionally or use a Chom-Chom roller (love that name) but pit bull hair is short and stiff and sticks in fabric, especially around the buttons on the ottoman. Before the dog needed it next to the bed I had the ottoman near the front door but there's a chair there now--I'm going to see if the chair would work better upstairs in the reading room, but I don't know if it's as comfy as the one I have there now. I'll check that out.
The folding table I'm using is 6 feet long and has been stored on the enclosed back porch, which gets really cold in winter. When I brought it into the kitchen, I saw a dead spider on one side, and thought, oh, maybe there will be more dead spiders or eggs on the underside of the table. I opened it up to look and there was a live spider! Living on the freezing cold porch! So I moved the spider to the side of the kitchen where the plant shelf is, and told him or her to enjoy how much warmer it was in the kitchen.
Now it's time for a 20 minute reading break.

aww Diane you are so sweet!
I found my tax stuff bin. put ink in the printer and printed out the form the IRA wants.
Did a bit of paper shuffling--I think I should go to tax help day sooner rather than later so that I can dig into real paper processing without having to leave.
I decided to "spend" my last whole Vyvanse and take it today as I was getting overwhelmed. gonna go take a 30 min power nap until kicks in.
NEXT UP: wash up and get dressed pack
ERRANDS: library store - kitty litter
- kitty bisque
- calamine lotion
- eye drops
- water

kitty bisque
Well, the downstairs chair is comfier than the upstairs chair. It would also be easier to stand up from. However, I'm 98% sure it will not fit up the inside stairs. Which means another piece of furniture that I would have to help the handyman carry up the scary, two story outside staircase. I didn't like doing that a couple of years ago when I felt a bit steadier, I would really hate it now. But it would be nice to have a comfier chair for reading. Another thing to think about.
I'm eating lunch and thinking about my will. I had the family down the street in the will to receive money to take care of the dog if I died before she did. I have to change that now, and I'm not sure what to do. I also have my shopping friend in the will, but with her living situation any money she got would go directly to the facility where she lives, since her money will be gone pretty soon and they will have to help her apply for Medicaid in order to stay there. I don't want to give money to her facility. It sure would be easier if I knew how long I was going to live and how much money would be left when I die, if any. This is honestly not hyperbole, I genuinely think the last four years have shortened my life by several years--I think years of stress do that. So I think that at least the house will be left--there is no longer a mortgage on it so even if I spend the money I still have in the bank there will be something. I guess this subject is for the "end of life" thread which is not active at the moment.
When I'm finished with lunch I'm going to set up the new grow light.

Good afternoon oust! I'm glad you're taking some days off! Yes, I have a new grow light which hopefully will only be used during the spring and early summer growing season. I'm going to need lots of plants to plant in the yard in May.
I've just been researching lawn substitutes, but every one has some kind of problem. I'm really getting to hate grass lawns.
Next:
10 minutes PEEPing
10 minutes on password project
Wash some dishes Delete 10 hard emails
