Evening all! Well after all my pride yesterday.....pride comes before a fall! No decorator appeared. Bf offered to phone him so I forwarded the email chain over. Boyfriend noted that I never actually gave him my address....cue a mental spiral Boyfriend has agreed to contact him tomorrow and sort it, and my penance was a lot of kitchen cleaning and also contacting a company about finally getting a blind in our kitchen window. Still, I'm enjoying the fruits of our labour at least. New find! While I was working earlier, I came across videos by Remi Clog, and I found her content very nice to have in the background while cleaning and tidying. Trauma informed, understanding and reassuring, very much the sort of thing that works for me. I also sang the praises of my new mop to my mum and might have talked her into one as, despite being so fussy about baseboards, she admits that the kickboards in her kitchen are rarely ever cleaned as she doesn't manage to get down on the floor for them! Done: Make bed Put throw over the bed Put a load of laundry on Put office chair through Dust picture frames on bottom stairs Take towels from bedroom downstairs Laundry from machine to dryer Mop kitchen cabinets Mop kitchen kickboards Achieve dining table zero Achieve floor clothes zero Handle mail Wiped down cupboard tops Wiped down freezer surrounds Wiped down kitchen handles Wiped down cooker hood Email about kitchen blind quote - booked in for Monday Finish stacking and run dishwasher Achieve coffee table zero Spray down shower Set out clothes for tomorrow

I looked up everyone’s birds, very cool.
Diane you’re keeping at it 😽 Reve, that could and does happen to everyone. A similar thjng happened to my mom 2 weeks ago. She made an appointment with the piano tuner by email. but forgot she didn’t have a phone he could call. (It’s a foreign number, because she lives partly in another country, and he didn’t know the number anyway). Or a doorbell right he could ring right now (you have to have a landline hooked up). It’s an apartment. No way for him to call her or buzz her from downstairs. The piano did not get tuned.
I picked up toilet paper as was on my list but not dustpan which required another stop and I was tired. Later, I’ll try to force myself.
Im having a break now after work. Plans: More laundry and more laundry. Practice music Pick up hall, kitchen, more in living room. I should break those down more. How do I make sk wines name appear as a tag? I forget, someone help me.

puppybox , the way I tag someone is use the Reply function, not Quick Reply. There are a bunch of icons. Click on the one with the @ which has a person figure next to it. Type in their screen name, then select. That's how I do it from my laptop. I don't post from my phone, but I'm guessing the way to do on the phone is to hover over their blue name to discover what their user ID is, then type that in. Sometimes that's the same as the screen name, but not always. Be sure to include the @.

Thank you, goldenthreads ! (Test) I did laundry and filled a bag of garbage mostly from fridge! I heard rodents in walls and that made me feel bad. I’m going to practice music (I think I’ll keep that a bit vague) Put away laundry Attack front hall. More laundry. Throw away clothes, maybe. Is anything worth donating? Not much

Good evening reve! Too bad about the decorator--but couldn't they have emailed you to ask for the address?
I went outside to do some weeding and ended up talking to the neighbors for a long time--I don't see them often since they all work varying schedules, but I was able to show them the toxic plants in case any more crept into their yard. I also offered to come over and pull out any that they saw. I told them about the happy increase in the number of bees, and one of them mentioned that they see a lot of ants around outside and thought about calling an exterminator. So then I told them that insect killers kill all insects, including butterflies (which they really like) and to please not use any insecticides. I hope I convinced them...they really are nice people, and the guy who owns the house always says he loves seeing the butterflies and birds in my yard so I think he's on board.
I had dinner and did some PEEPing, plus got another (short) call from my shopping friend because she forgot something she meant to tell me.
So now it's time to get ready for bed--good night everyone, see you tomorrow!

Sweep X a million
Good morning!
I'm waiting until 8 to mow so I don't wake the neighbors up, still have half an hour before I can go out. I woke up this morning with some pain around the same knee that caused me all that pain back in the fall--not the best time to mow but this is my window of opportunity because it's currently only 66 degrees out there! So I will mow, but take my time and rest in between.
Yesterday I saw a butterfly I didn't recognize, I looked online to ID it and the closest I saw was the "meadow fritillary". It hung around the yard for a long time. It's so funny to see them check out the whole yard, then they fly over the fence into the next yard, and a second later come right back after seeing that there's nothing but lawn on that side! They all do the same thing.
I also finally ID'd a dragonfly I saw a week or so ago, it's the first one I've seen this summer and it was actually sitting on the ground for a minute, that's how I saw it well enough to note what it looked like--I don't think I've ever seen a dragonfly sit before. Of course, I don't see a lot of them here. This was so striking because the wings were clear with black spots, so I only saw the black spots at first and couldn't figure out what I was seeing. It's a twelve spotted skimmer.
Have a good morning everyone!

Claiming read back amnesty. I have been out of town for five days. Now I am EXHAUSTED. Driving wore me out - and the heat.
It’s almost 11:00 a.m. here and I haven’t done a thing.
Going to get up now and try a round of Race to 100. Every action I take is progress, no matter how small!

Good morning TT!
Okay, mowing is done--I did all the areas, front, side, back and alley. For the last 20 minutes or so the sun came out so it was hotter, but most of the time mowing it was pleasant out there. My knee does not hurt any more than it did when I started, so I guess that's good. Legs in general are tired, so I will plan lots of sitting down tasks today.
TO DO:
Call decluttering client 10 minutes on paper Restock water in fridge Delete 10 hard emails

Good morning (8 more minutes until noon)
I enjoyed hearing about butterflies and dragonfly, Diane 🦋 Glad you got the lawn done. I have knee arthritis type problems and have to take various measures to prevent pain- and I didn’t 2 summer ago - and then I couldn’t bend my knee much for a year and it hurt. I’m happy to report that I can now sit cross legged again! It’s really stretching the unused muscles, but the knee bends and doesn’t hurt. one of my procedures is the dr scholl insoles for heavy ladies (it’s not called that but the men’s version is!) I forget the real name but it’s a polite euphemism. I’m not even so heavy but my knees think I am.
I gathered coins, flipped the laundry and shaved legs. Also ate and got dressed in clean clothes (that counts).
I will now Fold the laundry and put it away if i can find room. Buy dustpan -AND NOT TONS OF JUNK FOOD at dollar store. Maybe I need to make a strict list. Take out garbage. Take medicine Walk some dogs

I couldn’t bend my knee much for a year and it hurt
That's exactly what I had for about 2 weeks--bending the knee even the tiniest bit was excruciating! And I could tell the pain wasn't in the joint, it was the muscles around. It started off as slight pain, like what I have now, and then I did something to hurt it a few days later and that's when I couldn't bend it at all. Not easy to do anything without being able to bend your knee. But it healed after a few weeks without me doing anything. I will have to be extra careful to not hurt it now because I do not want to go back to how it was last fall.
Both legs hurt right now, but it's just from the mowing and will feel better as the day goes on, or at least, by morning.

10 minutes on plants 10 minutes PEEPing Wash some dishes Delete 10 hard emails

Another knee babying procedure I do is I take a turmeric supplement and that helps. Its anti inflammatory. You have to take it for a month before you can feel it. you have to tell your doctor because it affects… something. Like if you take a blood thinner you can’t take it. Also yes rest helps. I think my actual joint is affected but if I put strain on the joint the muscles get all angry trying to compensate.
I put away the clothes VERY slowly and I’ve run out of room. I read that libraries can’t have all their books back at the same time, many have to be checked out as they don’t have room for all. I think all my clothes being clean is the same thing. Determined to get rid of clothes later.
I need milk, dustpan, quarters. Going to walk dogs.
