Ahhh...did some good stuff. with stuff. : ) Stuffed more stuff into recycling bin, it's overflowing and will need to have stuff standing by for next pick up.
Stuffed all the returnable cans, bottles into big black trash bag to set outside of the bin for the sweet man who comes by on trash day looking through bins for returnables.
Cleaned out pantry cupboard for stuff to trash. Good grief, who lives here? And, who is in charge of the kitchen? Oh, that's right, it's ME! I'm the problem!
The ukelele is still a looooong way away. But it'll happen. I want it.

your doing great ising!
I'm dressed to mow today I just need to get the notion on 15 min sessions. And do a few. I always manage to hit a few buttons on a timer if I take one in my clothing. Maybe I just need the define an area approach. then stop. Long driveway - that will be first.

Thanks for the triple points, boyswilbeboys! Wynken, how's your mowing in sections going? it's the only way I can do anything right now it seems. In a good way, though. All positive. Makes it a game and so less daunting. : )
I have such a list of procrasti-nots to do. I'll pick two to celebrate victories before noon. (it is 9 am here)
1. Bank thing with daughter 2. Furniture thing, repair, paint, be done with it.

Thank you, swampedbystuff and boyswillbeboys!!! (I don't have the tagging thing going yet.) Breaking it up really helps! Okay, boys, you have a big yard, space, acreage. An hour on a riding mower would take care of me and several of my neighbors. Ha!
I DID do it! Yay! So glad I finally took my daughter for the bank thing. Now we know she needs a couple documents and we will return. The furniture thing is 3/4 done. So happy. It's true...the starting of a project is the toughest. I'll finish it tomorrow easily.
I'm writing a list of goals for tomorrow. I want to be mapped out so I can hit the ground running and take advantage of a few hours freed tomorrow. A little nervous and excited for possibilities.
Plink Plink, says the ukelele.
Sleep will be helpful. Sleep will be essential. Bright eyes in the morning.

Looking at the big picture, I am utterly overwhelmed. A good trash hunt today as the garbage truck was winding through the neighborhood. Filled it to above the brim.
Now, feeling frozen as I stare at the gigantic pile. I took a picture, but it's too hideous to look at and post. I don't know if it'll be helpful or just depressing and exhausting to look at it.
Procrastinating by typing and thinking and reading and...blah...blah...blah...
Okay, going out there for 30 minutes to do anything. Picking 2 square feet. No, 1 foot. Breathing. Standing. going...

Thank you, Swampedbystuff! I did sort one box. It's so hot out there now, I brought in 6 boxes to sort before people/family/guests/MIL returns. A bit optimistic. I'm trashing the livingroom, which is crazy, but I don't know what else to do to make headway.
I have two things I'm ignoring that are uncomfortable communications. I'll do them now. aaaargh. Each will take 8 minutes. Ready. Go.
...editing when done
1. yes! did it! 2. nyah ha ha!!! did it!

Congrats on pushing through 'the overwhelm,' 'the avoid,' and the barfiness! Great work! I'm trying to do the same. Thank you, Grasshopper! How's it going for you? Well put: "pushing through" is truly what it is. Can't get around it, can't go under it...isn't there a children's song or chant that goes like that? Took a shower, feeling cooler and clearer headed. Going back out in clean, nice clothes instead of funky monkey dirty work clothes, just to change it up and see how things look from a different perspective. Doing one box. i'll edit when done... 1. Did it! Worked on THREE boxes! yay! Some difficult memorabilia. So I used someone else's (can't remember who right now) brilliant idea of having a "don't know" box, so I didn't have to lose momentum. Bonus: Husband brought me dinner. : )
