Great work is happening at your place ising! a transformation before your very eyes as you push thru and tackle boxes from different angles. I did have a go at mowing the other day. Self-propelling mower wasn't self driven at all. Heavy with its extra dodahs on it for she without much strength. I did 2 sessions which was over an hours worth, In all taking 2-3 times as long, with much over half to go. I need a yard man, or reinvest in repairs that get to the propulsion bit. Last time I did that it was $$$ though it was seized up that time and impossible to move. I think its time to just pay someone. I hate that.

yes, we have 4.5 acres, not all is in grass, but enough, I did 2/3 of my sections yesterday, DH has one section I refuse to do, it's one big hill, and I don't like it.
you are doing amazing, you punched through those phone calls, and rocked those three boxes, I think an 'I don't know' box is awesome, don't forget to date it, so that you know when you go through it again

a transformation before your very eyes as you push thru and tackle boxes from different angles. Oh, that is so wonderful! Thank you, wynken! How is your mowing going? I have some boxes I'd like to throw in front of your cool mowing rig! Would it shred everything to mulch? I'm picturing you on one of those giant disc tractors shredding everyone's squalor to lovely compost, flowers popping up behind you. : )

I've procrasti...you know, for about an hour now. I have limited time tonight, so that's not what I want to do. I'm working on paper boxes, boxes of paperwork, paper memorabilia, sweet papers from kidlet, every paper she ever touched, papers touched by other people I love. Oh, boy, I'm a piece of work.
I will edit in what I've done as I go...because sometimes writing something on a To Do list subconsciously feels like I've already done it. I've found I'm motivated when I get to write it down when it's done.
editing in as things get done -- yay! 1. box 1 papers 2. box 2 papers 3. pantry trash hunt -- oh, fun surprises! 4. I'm a little bleary, but finished 4 boxes. Thank goodness for sweet little animals keeping me company.
Mapping the day for tomorrow now. Getting just a tiny bit of sleep and get the house back in order for husband and MIL return in the morning.

I'm really glad you placed your thread on general, too, Ising! I believe it truly helps our lurkers who haven't decided to join. (and I hope they will!) Keep up the good progress! Something IS better than nothing!

Or a vacuum cleaner You just remove the things you want. Point it at whats left. All gets sucked to an alternate universe and the space left is sparkling. Perhaps imagining that helps us do the actual work, for those times we box the items to go And space for magic and beauty remains. Or pack the things to stay and wave the wand whilst pressing the remove button. In that alternate universe mining happens in space. Recycling at is finest as the G*ds bestow resources beyond belief firing their imagination. I received a brochure thing from my local powers that wantta be on what is waste. The way I read it they will take a heap of things if I can sort and get it delivered to them. The once furniture in my carport for 2 years. Really? Therein lies the effort needed. When all is said and done there is a game/animation in all of this. Hidden object mission where things are hidden under other things. Arcade shootemup distructathon

In reading the "pushing through" comments, isingandlaugh, I'm reminded of the Country song that says, "When you're going through hell, keep on going . . . !"
Best wishes,
Arid
P. S. I *did* make substantial progress on my 3 yrs-old project! A.

Arid, I love that song, It is a great thing to hear.
I got a great deal on a new printer today, after finally getting the nerve to toss the busted, wouldn't work anyway one, and ... it's wireless, so if we need to we can print from our phones, considering our normal computer/internet access uses our phones anyway, it's awesome.
ising, when you say time machine, I think Tardis, then I think that could get dangerous, as it's so much bigger on the inside

I'm a little late posting (was exhausted!!) but Thursday I brought 2 items to be returned to the post office, turned in the paperwork for volunteer position for my ds, and I faxed an assistance request for a course extension.
