I printed new to-do-lists, purged the old ones, finished my morning routine (made bed, bathroom duties) and did the first half of digital decluttering. Next: reheat dinner .

Hi flotsam! I'll need to pick up a package from post office, wash dishes, vacuum and wash floor. Plus studying, tweaking computer (should decide which firewall to purchace), walk dog and physio exercises. Perhaps taking glass and metal recyclables with dog, as it couple kilometers walk. The new computer has taken lot of time to set up, which is not surprising, but I did hope to get more other things done regardless. Oh well, one step at a time! Progress not perfection!

GOALS for this week:
- try to get the computer ready, firewall, files from old computer, etc - try to finish a studying "project": finish reading a book, taking notes and writing an essay from it - get the dentist process started: map out the private dentists in my town, glance their price listings, choose 1-2 best.

Thanks for starting the thread flotsam. I hope your work day goes well. I'm having a slow wake-up morning. Actually it is only 8:30. I try to be mindful of my neighbours since I now have apartments on both sides plus above and below me, so I need to make an AM routine of my initial quiet things. So far I have only read blogs and had breakfast. It has gotten fairly windy out. For some reason when I moved in last week, my ds set up all of the cushions on my patio chairs. (I had actually had them in large garbage bags for transport, and will most likely tarp everything for the winter. I won't be sitting out there in a snow storm! So I don't know why he set them all up. 2 mats I had drying on the backs of the chairs had blown off to the floor of my balcony this AM, and I did not need these cushions sailing away - so I did go out and remove them from the seats and they are currently wedged between the chair frames and the balcony window. Today I am going to try to organize and clean my kitchen and DR better - and a lot of that organizing is just moving the still packed boxes to locations that are less in the way. But first I need to look after me and a few basics - remove potted geraniums from bathtub and return to shelves in bedroom - clean tub - have my shower

Hey cyn - I took one of your coffees, thanks. Its very mild here too - and quite breezy. I can sit here and watch how quickly the clouds are going by. (I could not see any of this stuff from my old house!) I hope you get your projects done this week - especially the outside ones. I got the geraniums all back to their spots - after cleaning them up, removing dead leaves etc. Cleaned out the tub Had my shower and dressed Gathered up all of the garbage, including the dead leaves - and its all down the chute! Next is to work on the kitchen - catch up on dishes (wash and let air dry) - clean counters - clean off desk in kitchen

Yes, please take another, I brought lots today Anyone else like a coffee? I'm have another, too - caffeine me into action, lmao. I'm so glad it's mild again - I checked the forecast earlier, hollyhock: at first it said mild on the weekend too, but now it's reporting freezing and below. Darn it, I was thinking of leaving the monster birdbath for DH to move. Maybe they're change it back???Please??? It's kind of yucky outside, the dark clouds are ruining it. It's just a plain grey sky in my area, although the sun was poking out a hour ago. C'mon sun!!!

Hey cyn - I'll have one of those coffees on my next break - otherwise I will sit too long. This birdbath - since you mentioned a rhubarb leaf, did you make it yourself? It sounds intriguing. Skies here are very grey too. Kitchen is getting better. Dishes are caught up - although some are drying in a dish drainer and I had to use a drying mat for the rest. Exposed counters are cleared, and cleaned, and I got rid of most of the small items that ended up tossed on the kitchen desk. Next on my list is to wipe down the kitchen desk and bookshelf, move the bookshelf into the center of the kitchen unearth the bagged vac from my cleaning closet and vac where the book case and desk were

Hi lucie - I am having a coffee with you. Sorry you didn't get more of an answer from your doctor. Take care! In my last round I wiped down the full bookcase, and desk, moved the bookcase, vac'd that space plus under the desk with the bagged vac, and washed that floor with Mr Clean. I also called my garage re booking my tires to be switched over to snow tires. He tells me that they are fully booked up until NEXT Thursday (as in Dec 4). What? I am getting so disappointed with this garage, they just don't seem to take it seriously that my work and my safety is dependent on them. (Once I had a flat tire at my old work - and after I got the spare on I drove over there, since it was very close - can someone look at this? - not a car in sight - and they tell me that they are too busy - can I come back the next day and leave it. (BTW they also specialize in tires). So I called another place - they said 'guy is at lunch right now, can you come in an hour?' I went there. The only reason I keep going back to this place is because they store my tires, so they have them already. And every time I keep swearing it will be the last time! (I have gone to these people for about 20 years. It was great until they forced all of the managers to go to different stores about 5 years ago, and since then the service is awful! But my old manager is now in a different town, or I'd just go to him. ) Next round put bookcase back in kitchen, push desk up next to it vac rest of kitchen floor wash kitchen floor
