Great work everybody! I did laundry, dishes and I cleaned out my silverware drawer in the kitchen. The silverware is in a Rubbermaid organizer that I washed and then neatly put it all back. My Grandson is coming tomorrow so any progress on the house will be a miracle!

I got the laundry going, and for good measure I emptied the sink of our dinner dishes. I think before bed I'll even scrub the toilet, because I can see some water deposits beginning to discolour the bowl already. I'm *not* going to wait until there's a thick coating to take care of it this time! Maybe I'll dump the bathroom trash, too. I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bored of all this housework, and how it has to be done continuously. I'm seriously daydreaming of hiring someone else to do it, except for the money aspect. I think I can honestly say I'd rather go to the dentist than clean house. Whoa!

I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bored of all this housework, and how it has to be done continuously. Cyn, I so agree with you--I'll clean something and be all proud of myself, then a couple of days later look at it and see it's dirty and say--again? I have to clean it again? That just doesn't seem fair! Diane

I know! And there's only so many hours in a day, right? Sigh. Double sigh! I devoted a good chunk of time this morning to this drudgery, then I was out from 9-5 working, then I came home and did laundry, put the dirty sink stuff in the dishwasher, scrubbed the bathroom, collected garbage - and I still have a zillion other things to do - this is *just barely making a dent* in maintaining a tidy home. I'm not even including the time spent on my pets, because they're a special part of my life that's a blessing (except the cat poop outside the box) so that's not a real "chore" to me. But it still has to get done, and that takes time too. I might never be able to keep a tidy home, and also work. I just might not have enough free time. Yeah, some "free" time, when it's spent washing walls and windows...oh crap, I haven't even done that yet! ARGH!

I am sorry to hear about your cold, cyn. Feel better soon. The sun has come out for the first time in more than two weeks of grey sky! And I just painted over a bit of the wall that got sprayed by one nosebleed. I want to keep my walls clean.

Thanks, lucie! Yes, today is a wonderful day Good morning, everyone! Our sky's still grey, but the snow's almost gone, yippee! I'd like it to stay that way...until Dec 24th, ha. Just enough for a winter wonderland at Christmas, then melt right into spring. Those are some pretty crazy thoughts for a Canadian, who's going to spend the next few months piling it up over her head! I've taken 3 bags of garbage and 3 recycling boxes to the curb. I was ruthless, and tossed a bunch of perfectly good plant pots. Ouch, that was difficult. But I did it! I told myself I could buy a bunch more next spring, at the animal shelter yard sale, which made it much easier. Otherwise I'd have kept them. What's new? I also went after the webs in my bedroom. No use getting all crabby about being sick, when I'm sitting here under years worth of dust overhead. I used the cardboard paper towel roll that I saved last week, so I'm back down to 9, ha. There was quite a bit in here! Those rolls sure take them down good - and then you end up with a grey cotton-candy stick! And, to fill up the bag of paper, I went after my gardening catalogues and some magazines that are on a shelf I need to desqualor. Maybe I should be crabby more often, because those were easy to pitch - and I've had them for years too. And, my sink is empty, my litter/tiles are clean - so I'm enjoying some coffee before I leave. Have a great day, everyone!

I did basic cleaning in the bathroom and put dirty dishes soaking, and clean dishes where they belong.
To Do:
- get package from PO, - collect and take out garbage, - wash floors
My internet has been mostly disconnected today for some reason, but this site seems to work somehow???

My internet has been mostly disconnected today for some reason, but this site seems to work somehow??? Ooh, magic! It's the power of all this decluttering! I woke up this morning to find that my computer was not working, I could move the mouse and click on things but got the eternally rotating Windows circle when I did. When I moved the cursor onto the task bar it would freeze. So after a grocery shopping trip, I called Dell (I have a service contract) and spent 2 hours and 45 minutes getting it fixed. Then I had to go out to some jobs, so absolutely nothing got done so far today. I'll try to accomplish something in the next two hours before I have to go out again. Looking at the positive side, I didn't have a chance to mess anything up this morning because I was tethered to the computer desk! Diane

It is a nation wide internet problem here today for everybody (me) using one of the biggest service providers of the country, and the connection has been non-existent today. And ofcourse just when I needeed internet to install another firewall plus some emailing.
Sorry to hear you have been having computer problems too, Diane. OMG almost 3 hours? You are a saint!
I finally went to pick uo my package (got a new bed spead and this will make my bedroom 100% more homey!) and collected + took out all trash.
Dishes are still soaking and need to be washed, but I probably won't even try to wash floors today as it's already 10.30 PM.

Good work on dishes, OTM. Had breakfast, caught up a bit on digital decluttering (no time yesterday to do it), and wrote down spendings. Next: shower, bathroom .

I washed my hair in the morning, charged my music player and went to see the doctor and I will be back at work on Monday, the virus is giving up.
Did some shopping on the way back - chocolate, light bulbs and a new toaster/sendwich maker. I bought the same brand and type as the old one hoping I would be able to use the hotplates from the old one, but the new ones are slightly different. They must be doing it on purpose.
Novemeber is deffinitely not a good month for me. And I am not speaking about the virus now. After a power cable and a toaster, a CD mechanics stopped working in my computer - it will not open any more - it did have some difficulties before. So now I have to find someone who will fix it for me.

I'm happy to hear you are able to work again, lucie! Sorry to hear about all the problems with electronics. Of course they are doing it on purpose—they want to make money, not save the environment! Whenever I have to handwash my wool pullovers, I think how nice it would be to have a modern machine with a handwashing program. But then I think of my completely reliable purely electric machine (no electronics) that has been working for almost 20 years now without any repair, and I'm grateful I have such a good (not fancy) workhorse. I did the bathroom duties, reheated dinner and finished today's decluttering. Next: gather paper for recycling to take it to the outside bin on my way to work.

Good day lucie and flotsam. I'm glad to hear that your virus is giving up Lucie and you can go to work next week. Sorry to hear of all of the problems with your varied machines and parts. Flotsam - good going on the decluttering and I hope you have a good work day. I am off today but work the next 2, and with huge sales we are expecting it to be super busy. So my plan for today is more related to prepping. Prepping for work (laundry, groceries), prepping rooms (closets and shelves) to make future unpacking easier, and paying off 2 bills that I need to do at the bank, before month's end. Right now it is only 8 AM I have read some SooS, made my To Do list, and just finished breakfast. Next up: Shower and dress Dailies - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen Vac closets spare room and bedroom
