There was a box of books in the garage to go to the thrift shop. They got shuffled too close to the door and got rained on. Today they left for the landfill so there will be something for the party wallflowers to do. Three tall kitchen bags of confetti joined them and 4 particle board shelves that only got rained on once.

Confetti! wahoo!!!
In case there are stairs and we want to leave something on the bottom step to "bring upstairs later" I am donating my "stair/step" basket. You know the one that rests on a step...to put things in.....to bring upstairs later? haha..it just becomes a catchall.

I'm tossing in some green, I mean really green, bread. Maybe we can make sandwiches for St. Patty's day?

Inspired by Papermoon (removing her dried cat tails, in another thread) I'm following her excellent example by getting rid of my super-old and super-dusty dried money tree branches, plus I found some pussy willows to join them. Wow, who knows *how* many years I've had them - Dust Party! Anyone else want to join in tossing some nasty old dried flowers/branches?

Di, ohblondie, seashell and cyn you are all doing great. Such useful stuff. Im not tossing this but im going to take out my green little trash can that i use for collecting compost and put it on the kitchen counter. Its been hibernating under the sink all winter because my compost bin was buried in snow. Cyn, i could use some pens. Just until i can find my stash of 500 pens. I know its here sonewhere.

Undecided - before my husband left me more than 12 years ago, he left in one of our empty apartments a combination with, the frame, 2 windows and 1 screen. I have a neighbor that is having a bunch of stuff picked up on Wednesday and I could put it in his pile or let it stay in the apartment. Keep or get rid of.

Warning: post below may not be suitable for some readers, possibly including myself.
(Okay, um, well, I had these, er, toys. Not the kind for kids to play with. Grown-up toys, that I haven't been able to use since I developed my latex allergy. It's been years now that I've been keeping them around just because I didn't know what to do with them. They're perfectly good useable items, but you can't just donate that sort of thing to your local thrift store. I finally just threw them out today; on grounds of 1) amnesty, and 2) they could really add to the fun in the backroom of this landfill party.)

WTG Evelyn, spicing up this week's party! My contribution's our ginormous old sectional couch. Wow, we *actually* got rid of it! DH wanted to keep it on the porch, ugh - which is kind of funny, considering how much effort I'm putting into getting that area cleared out. Sure, a massive couch that takes up half the floor space sounds like a fabulous idea, hon. Not!

evelyn... Those will surely add to the fun!!!! cyn, Congratulations on the Going of The Sectional (Capitalized because THAT is an event) Today a few dressy children's dresses are going to my daughter and her friend. One is a totally over the top purple taffeta with multi rufffles on the skirt and the other is an adorable turquoise and lime green lace dress. Both were actually purchased for the children that will be getting them, but I keep forgetting to get them to them... (and since one is an Easter Dress, time is running short) Today's actual landfill contributions are getting ALL the trash cans emptied... (Note to self: Teach Kiddo the difference between TRASH and GARBAGE, I found food in the TRASH can in her bedroom -- ICK!!!!!!!)

evelyn you surely win the Best Dumpster Toss Of the Day, award I chucked old sweatshirts out yesterday. My brain was screaming, "YOU MIGHT NEED THEM TO STAY WARM" and "You could use them to sleep in, on cold nights" so I yelled back "But they're still FRAYED! Goodbye!" So if anyone is chilly, there's some hoodies up for grabs.
